On their meeting, I really didn't care; I was more interested in the backstory of Kaguya and the Madara fight.

I thought it was cool. LOL at that picture. looking back at that thread the first page is just embarrassing lol.
I remember the Sasuke fans being the worst jack[expletive]'s known to man and spamming the entire site to no end when he gained the Rinnegan, and even more so when he proclaimed his "Revolution" after the Fourth Shinobi World War.
I'm pretty sure the moderators and admins were having a field day of having to consistently ban those members until the ending of the manga and Sasuke's defeat.

Timeline wise I think it goes like this :-
Kaguya casts Mugen Tsukuyomi from the Moon (Last showed Moon with Kaguya).
Kaguya merges with the Shinju, transforms into Juubi; and attacks Hagoromo and Hamura.
Kaguya is sealed with Chibaku Tensei and her shell, aka Gedo Mazou is contained in the Moon.
Kaguya's will takes over Hamura's Staff and Black Zetsu is born from it - Purely Hypothesis.
Juubi's chakra divides (Chibaku Tensei seals only the Body, not the Spirit; Refer to Naruto and Sasuke Sealing) out of the seal, Hagoromo seals the leaking Juubi chakra within himself and becomes the First Juubi Jin. - He sealed only the leaking chakra, not the complete Juubi.
Hamura goes to the Moon to guard the Juubi/Kaguya's shell; Gedo Mazou.
Hagoromo spreads Ninshuu, has Indra and Ashura as children, makes Ashura his successor.
Hagoromo grows old, divides his portion of the Juubi's chakra into the Nine Bijuus, dies.
Hagoromo never created the Moon and nor did he create the Gedo Mazou. This is because A) Hagoromo never confirmed it himself but actually included Hamura in the sealing events B) Tobi's version is inaccurate cause it was based on a Legend which cannot be confirmed and C) Tobi's version of the story was based on a made up lie of Black Zetsu (Black Zetsu corrupted the tablet and Tobi got his story from there).
I wasn't here yet but I do remember people saying a lot of Sasuke haters said he wasn't going to meet the Sage, only Naruto was.

What does that have to do with hamura
The seal initially sealed it in hago and he inherited both seals and on his death bed sent the statue to the moon and split the chakra after ashuras chakra bloomed and he became a people person

Kurama already confirmed that Hagorom was juubi jin to Naruto :|
Hamura was a retconned char introduced just to satisfy that Hyuga's have an ancestor and are not prt of Hagoromo's bloodline struggle
