Not baseless. Madara reacts to 8 gates first EE blitz much faster than 7 gate blitz.

So common sense tell you that he did was not anticipate Gai last time. If he can to react to 8 gates which much faster, then why he struggle against 7? You saw Madara cover his eyes from the 7 gate vapour before, he did not expect Gai, that is all. Stop over complicate everything.
(Gai about to blitz Madara in 8 gate)
(Madara react and block)
(Madara able to keep track and to follow of Gai speed in 8 gates)
(Madara acknowledge speed of 8 gate, he mention Gai "is fast". This Madara did not say when he face 7 gate. So we know Gai moving faster in 8 gate. Again we see Madara react and block on time).

But if I understand you correctly then pls tell everyone how you beleive 7 gate Gai is faster an 8 gate Gai. Since Madara did not block 7 gate like he did 8 gate. Go on, since that what you clearly are saying.
And no, your top speed have nothing to do with your reflexes.

I was wondering when someone was going to bring these feats up. LMAO The thread has been solo'd but no point in wasting time with some ppl you will soon learn.

Um, since when is backstepping a slower reaction than barely blocking? Cause he barely blocked Eighth Gate Gai whereas he was able able to completely evade 7G Gai. So no, 7G Gai is not faster than 8G Gai nor is there any complication with my argument that'd support such a stupid statement. Not to mention my argument revolves around Madara's counter attack, not Madara blocking. Two different actions.

Please stop replying to me. :lol Your whole post only exists because you are operating under the preconceived notion that I stated that Madara struggled with Gai or that Madara can't block 7G Gai's attack.

yes my mistake about the speed not being mentioned, but you're statement, "your reflexes will always be faster than your actual movement speed" implies that youre reflexes will get faster if you're speed gets faster, it also makes no sense since reaction time has nothing to do with you're speed becasue reaction time is measured in time and speed in m/s, regardless how much speed an attack has if it is close enough you won t have enough time to react even if it's slower than your attack speed so this again disproves your point, so if gai is faster than minato it doesn t mean his reflexes are faster too even though that may be the case, also how can gai react to ay if he can t even see him ?

No.

1. The bold is my claim and it is 100% correct. You should've said this the first time instead of using the opposite (reflexes being enhanced meaning speed gets a boost too) because the opposite is different. Completely different.

2. The underlined makes zero sense. The measurements being different doesn't even begin to prove your point or disprove mine. Reaction time is the time in which you can react to an outside stimulus. The slower you are, the higher the time. The faster you are the lower the time. Are you going to tell me that stopwatch measurements of people's track running speed has nothing to do with speed because they aren't using m/s as measurements? No. If we run the same distance and you complete it in 10s while I complete it in 15s, you are faster. Time has everything to do with speed.

3. Base Naruto reacts to V2 Ay w/ KCM. That alone is proof that when your speed goes up, your reaction speed will obviously follow as once again, it is physically impossible to move faster than you can react.

Why in the world would Gai not be able to see Ay? The only way that'd happen is if Gai let Ay get his back, which he won't because Gai can easily keep up with him.

speed is measured in seconds proportional to the true speed WHEN THE DISTANCE IS ALWAYS THE SAME, that is not the same in a fight, how hard is it to understand ? the time an attack takes to hit depends on the speed of the attack AND THE DISTANCE FROM THE TARGET so saying that you can always react to your own speed makes no sense, you get it ???

No, once again you are repeating the same damn thing that makes no damn sense. Distance not always being the same doesn't change the fact that one speed will always be faster than the other. Who in the hell told you speed could only be measured when "distance is the same"? :lol

I suggest you stop replying, because post after post you show me how little sense you make.

i will quote myself

"speed is measured in seconds proportional to the true speed WHEN THE DISTANCE IS ALWAYS THE SAME"

you get it ? speed is measured in seconds only when the distance is always the same, get it ??? get it ? yes ? than you should have gotten it the first time. not the 5th

why have you totally ignored the main point ? ??

"the time an attack takes to hit depends on the speed of the attack AND THE DISTANCE FROM THE TARGET so saying that you can always react to your own speed makes no sense"<--never adressed

this is not about speed , it's about how long an attack takes to be executed, that is measured in seconds, and can be confronted with the reaction time, because both are time quanities, not m/s, the time it takes to make an attack depends on distance and speed, so any attack regerdless of how fast it is can hit you before you react IF THE DISTANCE IS SHORT ENOUGH to make the time it take to attack>you reaction time, so no you can t always react to your own speed i can t explain it more clear than this
i'm getting tired of this cat and mice thing, debate properly

You are definitely a special kind of daft. An attack will always be thrown at a constant rate, the only thing that'd affect the speed overall is the distance, but that distance is irrelevant because what is fact is that you can always react to the

Second of all, what you are saying only helps your point if it's true, and I've seen no evidence that it is. You sound like a tard claiming Gai can't react to his own speed. Now you've changed your argument into a pile of irrelevant garbage since the original stuff wasn't cutting it.

Third of all, varying distances is completely irrelevant when the example that PROVES MY POINT DOESN'T SHOW ANY KIND OF DIFFERENCE IN DISTANCE NOR WOULD YOU MAKE DISTANCE DIFFERENT TO MEASURE WHO IS FASTER. Are you really this slow?

1. Minato fails to react to Madara's strike when he's in his face.
2. Gai is so fast while in Madara's face that Madara can't strike.

Thus Gai strikes faster, and reacts faster than that too. Why the hell are you trying to say "If someone Gai's speed strikes from too close, he won't react" when that's not how you compare speed. You make ALL outside factors equal and then compare.

Now answer the question. Can Gai react to his own attacks. Yes or no? Crying about "distance" isn't going to prove a word of what you are saying. Learn how to read and comprehend an argument before you start telling people to debate properly.

my point is irrefutable unless you want to deny math, what's your argument against it ? my initial point was the same, speed and reflexes don t scale together therefore you can't always react to your own speed, what you said implied that ay can't touch gai and as i proved that is not the case
1. Minato fails to react to Madara's strike when he's in his face.
2. Gai is so fast while in Madara's face that Madara can't strike.
indeed

Thus Gai strikes faster, and reacts faster than that too.
here we go again, same argument, gai striked faster in that case but nowhere does he react to anything

Why the hell are you trying to say "If someone Gai's speed strikes from too close, he won't react" when that's not how you compare speed. You make ALL outside factors equal and then compare.
i never compared speed like that, that was an argument about reaction time

it depends on how much time an attack takes to complete, and that depends on speed and distance(again reaction time is NOT INVOLVED when you attack)

ay has better reaction time than most sharingan users, he can react and dodge amaterasu at close, gai has showed nothing like this, he is also so fast that ms sasuke could not see his movements so what makes you think that someone without sharingan can even see ay ? cause if he can t see ay than he can't react at all, also ay has a lot more durability than gai, there is no proof that hirudora will kill him(even though there are some indirect arguments for this point) , gai on the other hand can t really tank ay's attacks, so i think ay wins more times than not

Your "point" is that Gai can't react to his own speed because if someone equal in speed to him is too close and they strike him, he won't be able to react, but that is a baseless assumption on your part.

Back to the same bullshit? Why don't you learn how to read kiddo.

-Never implied Gai can't touch Ay. I said that Gai reacts faster than SM Minato, thus he can react to Ay's speed. Gai reacting faster than Ay has jack shit to do with Gai being able to dance around Ay in the 7th Gate. What's worse is that I never once mentioned movement speed. Your inability to comprehend a simple post has twisted the argument into something completely irrelevant.

here we go again, same argument, gai striked faster in that case but nowhere does he react to anything

He strikes faster than Madara, thus he reacts fast enough to react to Madara's attack. Madara didn't attempt, because he knew Gai would outspeed him in that case and counter his strike. Also pointing to the conclusion that he can't react. The only way you debunk is this by dropping this same idiotic argument and proving that Madara never had the intention to attack Gai, but he clearly did...so good luck.

i never compared speed like that, that was an argument about reaction time

That is reaction time and that is exactly what you were saying.

it depends on how much time an attack takes to complete, and that depends on speed and distance(again reaction time is NOT INVOLVED when you attack)

1. It's irrelevant if it is or not.
2. Yes, it is. DB agrees. Common sense agrees. The faster you REACT. The faster you ACT. Are you now going to tell me that attacking isn't an act?

Can you stop? Ay being able to dodge Amaterasu doesn't mean that he can blitz Gai. Gai having superior reactions to SM Minato means that he can react to Gai. Period. Stop going on about "Sharingan couldn't follow him" when it's completely irrelevant. Did Minato have Sharingan when he reacted to Ay not once, but twice? Oh wait, no, he didn't. That was pure reflex at work.

Wrong. When Ay is as durable as Madara's Complete Susanoo, then he can tank Hirudora. Until then, he gets one shotted by it. Gai can block every single one of Ay's hits while Ay can't block Hirudora. He loses. Period.

Your "point" is that Gai can't react to his own speed because if someone equal in speed to him is too close and they strike him, he won't be able to react, but that is a baseless assumption on your part.
basic physics are baseless assumptions now, you lost the argument about this point get over it
I said that Gai reacts faster than SM Minato, thus he can react to Ay's speed.
you base this on flawed logic that i explained

He strikes faster than Madara, thus he reacts fast enough to react to Madara's attack.
the flawed logic that i mentioned earlier and already proved it wrong w this:

"the time it takes to make an attack depends on distance and speed, so any attack regerdless of how fast it is can hit you before you react IF THE DISTANCE IS SHORT ENOUGH to make the time it take to attack>you reaction time, so no you can t always react to your own speed"

The only way you debunk is this by dropping this same idiotic argument and proving that Madara never had the intention to attack Gai, but he clearly did...so good luck.

you re making stuff up now, madara wasn t even aware of how fast gai's reflexes were so this is disproved, he didn t have time to counter

2. Yes, it is. DB agrees. Common sense agrees. The faster you REACT. The faster you ACT. Are you now going to tell me that attacking isn't an act?
flawed logic again, the time it takes for the brain to give the attack command to the body isn t counted in the time it takes to attack because that is before the attack starts

show me the scans where minato REACTED to an attack from v2 ay, what i said is not irrelevant, if he can t see ay he won t know where he is coming from

Wrong. When Ay is as durable as Madara's Complete Susanoo, then he can tank Hirudora. Until then, he gets one shotted by it. Gai can block every single one of Ay's hits while Ay can't block Hirudora. He loses. Period.

proof that ay destroyed susanoo pls, gai can try to block attacks from ay but he will still smash into whatever he is pushed against and then smashed again by ay while he is recovering, it's up to debate weather ay can dodge hirudora

You didn't even have an argument now you don't have a rebuttal. Crying about how I "lost" isn't giving you any points here kid.

You explained nothing.

the flawed logic that i mentioned earlier and already proved it wrong w this:

Which has been replied to over 5x. Stop repeating defeated shitty ass arguments. When you have proof that Gai can't react to his own speed from a short distance then we can talk. When you can stop trying to introduce a varying distance into a situation where Minato and Gai were both at the same distance from Madara in the Manga, then the debate can move forward.

you re making stuff up now, madara wasn t even aware of how fast gai's reflexes were so this is disproved, he didn t have time to counter
Madara not knowing of Gai's reflexes is irrelevant. You saying that Madara had no time to counter essentially proves my point. :lol

flawed logic again, the time it takes for the brain to give the attack command to the body isn t counted in the time it takes to attack because that is before the attack starts
Irrelevant. Reaction speed ties into attacking and defending and that's the point. Stop trying to turn every point you are getting shitted on at into something irrelevant.

And now you can't read the Manga either.

Madara was gone for a whole chapter and his Mokuton bounding broke. Evidence that he didn't break it pls? None of the horseshit you are claiming is going to happen here. KCM Naruto went against Ay and blocked his attack. When Gai blocks, he gets pushed back and if Ay tries to come at him again, Gai just blocks or even counters by dodging Ay's attack and striking him with his Nunchaku, which will push him back.

Ay won't dodge Hirudora if Gai releases it in his face.
