A death at this point at this point of the story would be good for the plot though. It's about time the villains in this story had even a minor success.

But it will be really too much if Rael learns about his death by getting another half of the soul weapon.. He is always going to question himself if another half would have kept Rajak alive..even though Rajak is up against too many and of older generation at that..

Well his goal wasn't to defeat this dude but to escape and warn the others. But the dude was strong enough not to let him do that so he needs to defeat him first and then try and run before the rest of them stop him (not gonna happen).

Lukedonian security sucks. HUmans noticed the battle even if they don't understand what's going on. Nobles who could figure it out are no where. They need to ask Tao to lend some equipment and hire some useful techs.
