How strong will Naruto be without a tailed beast?

One could argue that Naruto would have more techniques as well if he didnt have to spend so much of his time dealing with and learning to control Kurama.

And no, Naruto met the sage right after obito handed him the Kurama, one tails chakra and 8 tails chakra. The sage shows up, when there is a presence of Ashura and Indra chakra, in the case of Sasuke. But in Naruto's case, the sage only showed up when he gained the chakra of all the tailed beasts. So Ashura and juubi chakra sufficed. When Hagaromo showed up in the real world, he said it was a combination of all three(Indra,Ashura and Juubi chakra) that allowed him to manifest in the real world.

Sm naruto was stronger than jirayia and tsunade who were kage mention and actual kage. That isn't what he was doing. Jiraiya loosened the seal a bit once during that time. But that was about it.

His large chakra reserves even as a youth as well as his recovery speed are due to being the kyubi ' host and it's chakra leaking into the body.
So he would have rasengan his scj would be average like kakashis as well as chakra reserves. Who knows perhaps he would find a way to compensate for his lack of chakra etc. And perhaps not having the mental development he had from all the years of hatred he may be a different type of ninja. So I'd rank him as high chunin low joinin level(since he still got Ashurs weakness foderitisis and needs hard work and all that needing to rely on others).

Without Kurama, this is what he loses:

- A large supply of chakra. Without Kurama, there is no natural mixing between his own chakra and Kuramas, which means he cannot make clones regularly and spring back because of the healing quality and resilience Kurama naturally provides his body.

- That means people can forget that he trains through SM and Rasangan quickly. In fact, he wouldn't even have an FRS, which is useless anyways without Kurama's chakra.

- He hasn't learned SM because he cut down the time yet again.

- People can forget mass clones.

Even if I do offer him the courtesy of SM, then he's mid Jounin at most. Because he has what, like one technique at his disposal bar Kage Bunshin? Yeah, that's where he lies; Rasangan and KBs.
