Most of the old big teams are only shadow of their former selves, and yeah even RMA fits in that list, they have been very shit recently no offence though but with the numbers they spend on transfers their trophy winning rate is too low.

Liverpool has been also a shadow of their former selves but it looks like what Liverpool is missing at this rate is plain money for transfers, really the lack of PL for so many years should hurt any Liverpool fan.

I dont really think that is the reason that Liverpool has been trophyless for so long, the main reason is that they have been in a very big need of financial support, long story short they lack money to buy someone noteworthy, I mean its laughable to compare Real Madrid who has always the ambition to buy the best players in the market compared to Liverpool who for a long time has been buying average and under average players, actually with the players in disposition I think they are doing good enough right now, just think of having Balotelli, Borini and Lambert as ur first attacking choices, it literally hurts.
