I'd like to add to my previous comment. I'm a Juventus fan, and my second favourite club has been Barcelona since 2003 (Juventus since I was 2 and Barca since then). But it's not some unrequited hate for Real Madrid just because both clubs I support are direct historical contenders to them. The actual make up of the club and the history is downright pathetic.
First off. This "We have the most European championships" thing. Yes. Nobody denies that at all. But do you know when you won literally half of them? When there was only 7 other teams in the competition. The owner of Real Madrid at the time was the dictator of Spain. And he later admitted to threatening opposing teams with his political power prior to games. He was maniacal. Not to mention, just like we're used to now, Madrid tried to monopolize competition by buying all the best players and trying to win. Useless because there was no competition back then.
Madrid is absolutely classless in it's entire regard. Sure, every big club expects to win basically all the time. It happens with Juve, United, Barca etc. Traditional powerhouses like to stay on top. But it doesn't compromise the integrity of the club and it's fans. Casillas being booed by those spoiled Real Madrid fans was downright disgusting. That's like Xavi/Iniesta, Giggs or Del Piero being booed for a bad game. Casillas has given his entire career to Madrid and has been one of the greatest keepers of his generation (probably would have been the best if Buffon didn't exist). Yet they treat him like that? It's disgusting.
They never create any players. I'm not saying every team has to luck out like Ajax or Barca's youth system, but it's a joke! They buy every new shiny toy player which always compromises team chemistry. Instead of buying for positional need, they buy whatever attack is available. Who's going to partner Varane when Ramos gets older? How about an actual holding midfielder? But no. Instead let's just buy every attack midfielder alive and overpay. Madrid is a global icon; understandable that they could spend a lot. But they're the reason along with Oil clubs like Chelsea/City/PSG, that the market is so over inflated and that it freezes out potential clubs from climbing up. It's a joke. I would have more respect for them if their fans were actually decent as well, but they have arguably the worst footballing fan base in the entire world. No respect whatsoever.
I just can't wait until Ronaldo is done and they drop off. Because this generation was defined by overpaying transfer fees, and we all know Barca and Madrid won't be this dominant again when their two best players are done.

Madrid have more European Championship than barca and juve combined... it doesn't matter when we win it becasue we win, the only reason why you complain because its not your team that winning at that time and its Madrid, that's why its a problem for you, luckily you're the one who decided that so suck it LA DECIMA !!!!!,
The owner of real madrid is Santiago bernabeu, franco is merely a politician and want to use real Madrid and other football team in spain... to influence his reign to the people, he is the one who built camp nou and did you know ? Barca won more domestic trophy than Madrid during franco reign, and the European championship is not in Spain its Europe.... franco has no power in Europe...

Totally agree, Torres was insane in his prime. The guy scored for fun and especially loved doing it against us. I admired him even when he played for Liverpool. It's pretty sad (at least for me) that he couldn't get back to his best when he was playing for Chelsea. That injury really ruined his career. :/
Not really, Liverpool always had the money to buy quality players. It's the way they spend it, they bought Lambert and Balotelli to replace Suarez..... they payed 35m for Carroll, I mean... really?! Their transfers are just awful and that's the reason why they currently are mediocre. Ah and also the Fat Spanish Waiter who they love so much left them in shambles.
People just love to blame Real, Chelsea, PSG etc. that they are buying trophies when infact all the other top clubs are doing the same :lol

I don't care about your combined European championships. Half of them came when the European cup had only 7 other teams. Barcelona and Milan have more champions league wins in the new group stage format than Real Madrid, and I doubt that will change so long as Messi and Bayern Munich exist. By that logic, I can laugh at you on both sides; You couldn't even win your league when you won 22 games in a row (in all competitions) and you lost to a Juventus side missing Pogba in the first leg. That there is a rivalry? Juventus fans laughed at (not all the fans but some) Milan for the 2005 collapse at Istanbul in the CL Final against Liverpool, but then when Milan won in 2007, the Milan fans returned the favour. It's called a rivalry.

Where's the glory in this? I know but imo a move away from Madrid would do him good. He is one of the worlds best wingers and with him and hazard on the flanks we would be even more lethal. Doesn't look like we going to sign a big name though.
