- When Kabuto first meets Tobi/Madara, he states, " I would greet you, Tobi .... excuse me you go by Madara these days." This allows the reader to infer that Tobi is lying about his identity.
- In chapter 490, he states, "Uchiha Madara you are truly in your own league." Why would he say this about someone he just proved to be inferior to himself?
- To further support my argument Kabuto says, "don't worry I have not told anyone" ? of your actual identity.
- Also Itachi claims that,? Uchiha Madara is a shell of former self.?
I?m not going as far as to suggest that Tobi is not Madara. All I am doing is speculating as to why Kabuto is so easily able to persuade Tobi/Madara with that damn coffin.xd
