my friend, rape is absolutely disgusting and twisted, but, given the option of being either murdered or being raped i'd surely choose the latter.

This will come down to personal opinion though. The rape victim lives and is likely never the same mentally for the rest of their lives (or at the very least, it takes a VERY long time to heal), but the actual murder victim is well... dead. They both die in an ideal case, but I can't choose one to kill here. I'd spite them both equally.

If I shoot you randomly on the street all your future, anything good that you might contribute to other life forms is gone. Now if I raped you ya you might get traumatized but you can always recover with enough willpower. As far as we know, death is the most absolute concept other than to not exist at all.

Well yeah there are actually different kind of murderers for example murderers who do not value their own life or dont care about themselves are hard to punish because if the punished person do not care at all to be punished its not punishement

Both crimes are punished with death penalty in my culture. But from my personal opinion, murder is worse. At least the victim of rape can still live on and adapt with their life, even with their memories or psychological issues; but in the case of murder, you have literally took away their lives, their opportunities and hurt their families and friends.

I'd kill the murderer, rape is harsh don't get me wrong but its still an act that is supposed to fill you with pleasure...if they JUST rape you you'll live through it with some added experience in the bedroom to boot (I kieed I kieed) but seriously if you have a strong will you'll still be able to live which in the end is all that matters

Hell is a place where you suffer, I didn't mean it in the religious sense, its a figure of speech.

I admit that those who are murdered are dead and no matter how they died, they don't suffer anymore as they are dead.

But in terms of how much suffering a rapist/murderer causes is not something that we can just put in boxes and say "yeah this one causes more suffering than the other". Simply because the real victims of murderers are not the ones that are dead, but the ones that were close to them.
A family that lost their beloved due to a psychopath or someone that had no right whatsoever to take away a dear life suffers just as much as one who was raped. These people have to deal with just the same amount of suffering and trauma. How they handle it for the rest of their lives is determined by how willing they are to overcome the past and move on.
There is always a possibility for each and everyone of them to heal and come to a realization that there is more to life then just being stuck in the past. Of course, I'm not saying that these traumas are to be taken lightly. Simply that each have a choice in how they handle life as external factors/events push us to our limits. Whether we grow from them or become bitter with it, that is the difference in perspective.
