1. Ay got caught by Madara's MS genjutsu. Madara isn't even known for genjutsu. He is bruiser type. LOL.
And how did he manage to do that? Right, first he got distracted, then Madara caught him with Susanoo and forced him to look into his eyes (

) That was the only way he could put Ay under genjutsu.2. Itachi can use FINGER genjutsu. I already mentioned that in my previous post.
So, Ay doesn't

about the Sharingan, but he'll be defenseless before a regular genjutsu?3. Ay can't smash through Itachi's Susanoo because of Yata.
I didn't claim anything about Ay smashing through Susanoo (dunno why you brought that up), and wrong.
Ay can't smash through Itachi's Susanoo because he's not strong enough, that's it.
Fight begins. Ay blitzes and misses. Itachi catches him in finger genjutsu. GG.
If Ay went for the blitz he certainly wouldn't miss. And there's no reason for him to start like that, i don't know why you assume he would.
Lets say Ay breaks from finger genjutsu, itachi catches him in Tsukuyomi like how Madara caught him in MS genjutsu. GG.
Lol make up your mind. What's it gonna be? Finger, sharingan genjutsu or tsukuyomi?
For Itachi to do the exact same as Madara, first Ay would need to (unnecessarily) be distracted about an Hokage who would (arguably) be doing better than him, occupied with four other Susanoo, then he could go for the grab and genjutsu.
Chances are he would never pull that off in a 1v1.
Lets say Itachi was in a good mood and whipped out Susanoo instantly. Yata blocks Ay's blitz and Totsuka seals the brainless man. GG.

Or, Ay with Raiton cloak + shunshin avoids Totsuka and tries to smash Susanoo, only to utterly fail in doing so, but pressuring Itachi nonetheless.
Brainless? He was elected leader of an hidden village and then leader of the SA. Forget how much you dislike him for a second. Does that look brainless to you?
No way Ay is beating Itachi. Itachi is just straight up counter to hotheaded guys like Ay.
I don't see why not when he did fairly well against a stronger version of Itachi.
