No, that's a horrible comparison. I don't care what situations they were put in. Nothing she was put in compromised the integrity of her character. Sakura is a walking contradiction and a horrible example for the female gender and Hinata much the same but in a much more timid sense. Temari's sense of individuality and functionality without having to echo out Shikamaru's name every other panel alone puts her on a much higher pedestal than either of the aforementioned characters.

Sakura is a walking contradiction, like most of humanity is a walking contradiction. Me and you contradict ourselves in our beliefs, in what we say, in what we do all the time. No human is consistent.
Put Sakura in Temari's position, she'll come out the same. If you don't care about the situation.. then why compare them like one is better than the other, when the other hasn't been through the same situation?
Yea Sakura was probably the weakest female shinobi in the start, and needed people's help , so what? You always have that person in military or in a group.
She grew up to be the most accomplished and strongest female shinobi of her time...Alot of women in life maybe independent, but when they are around the guy they love and etc.. they become really vulnerable. Alot of men are like that also.
