Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent by merging with the ground itself. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. The disadvantage with this technique is that merging with the ground is rather slow and while perfomring the technique, the user is vulnerable to high ranked Earth techniques. The user isn't hidden from doujutsu or sensory ninjas and cannot travel beyond the 3 meter deep mark. Moving around in the ground is slow and the user cannot sense very well what is happening above.

Unlike the hiding like a mole technique this one allows you to actually merge with the earth and stealthily move throughout it without disturbing it. However, the major drawback of this technique is that it's slower and you cannot travel to greater depths thus you're left extremely vulnerable to earth techniques.

Description: The user will first perform the required hand seals Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger → Snake and slamming the hands on the ground, the user can, by flowing concentrated chakra into the Dragon Veins flowing underground, tear the earth apart, creating large chasms by raising the earth in two oposite sides in the desired location and then splitting that piece of earth through the center. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
Note: This does not split the earth appart directly to cause opponents to fall in the fissure.

Perform the hand seals [Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger → Snake] and slam your hands down onto the ground. Flow concentrated chakra into the dragon veins flowing underground and rise up a single section of earth in the desired location and after rising it split it down the middle, creating a chasm. As your skill in earth release increases you will be able to perform this technique on a higher level.

Izaku applies a similar nature to the assimilate all creation technique and begins to focus on his earth chakra while gathering the details of the minerals in the ground. He then continues by merging his body into the ground by matching it's compounds using the manipulation of earth chakra. However all of this is a very hard process, thus making it slow for Izaku to accomplish. After doing so, he traveled a few meters forward and emerged once again in a slow manner.

Unlike hiding like a mole, this technique doesn't allow you to really sense what is happening above ground and also restricts you to only being able to travel three meters in depth. Also, it is slow on the sinking part, however the good thing is that it doesn't disrupt the earth at all. Also, I am not sure if I would be able to use lower ranking earth ninjutsu like hiding like a mole. As for actual uses, I would do the same as I did with hiding like a mole although more stealthy due to the lower speed of both sinking and traveling.
After slowly practicing the long sequence of hand seals, Izaku weaves them together in a quick fashion as he then slams both of his hands on the ground and infuses it with his earth chakra. He causes a 2x2 meter block of earth to rise up above him, which is quickly split down the middle.

I don't entirely know what the dragon veins are. As for the technique itself, although it requires a lot of hand seals, it seems like a more advanced version of the variant method of the 90 degree wall technique I previously learned to split something down the middle. I would use this technique in order to split apart a larger volume of either incoming mud or water.

Perform the snake hand seal and slam your hand down onto the ground and manipulate the ground in an area upto mid ranged away from you to turn up with chunks of rubble popping out of the ground. This technique could either distract your opponent, possibly make it harder for them to see you if used right or just attack them by making the rubble shoot up from below their feet. This technique can also destroy earth techniques used by your opponent upto the same rank.

Perform the hand seals while molding your earth chakra into your lower arm and essentially "grow" earth from said arm encasing it in solid rock. With this you would be able to deal punches which are significantly stronger than if you would do so with your bare hands. The technique's strength can be enchanced by using either of the added weight techniques which we will get to later in the training.

Izaku performs a single hand seal and then slams his hands on the ground while infusing his earth chakra into it. He then manipulates the ground mid range behind him, causing it to turn up and release chunks of earth upwards in a barrage.

This technique is very neat, it reminds me of the wind one that was used to take care of equal ranking techniques. I assume, I don't actually destroy the enemy earth technique by infusing my chakra, but the actually barrage of rocks does? Either way, it's a nice technique that can be used to either distract and damage or take care of enemy earth techniques.

Izaku performs the shown seals as he then channels earth chakra through his left arm. He then manipulates the chakra and causes it to exit from his pores, creating a coating of rock that would encase even his closed fist. He would then slam his fist into the ground, allowing him to slightly shatter it.

Since it is a punch type technique it is a shame that it requires hand seals to activate, it reduces the surprise factor that this may have. However it is still a nice defensive technique for your arm if you choose to attack your target awaiting an attack in return.​

This technique can be used if you want to travel underground without being in trouble of actually blending with it. It could also be used to drain a natural water source or an opponent's drowning technique. By tunneling the ground, it will all be drawn to that location.

Izaku performs the shown hand seal and channels his earth chakra into the ground, manipulating the minerals around and beneath a tree. He then shape manipulates the earth itself to rise two thick walls of earth on either side of the tree, quickly beginning to crush it.

As you stated, straight forward technique, two walls are raised in order to trap the target from the sides to then crush them in between.

Izaku swipes his left hand out in front of him horizontally and manipulates his earth chakra into the ground. With that gesture, he releases the earthen particles from the dust and sand to rush forward in a wall and wave fashion into the distance.

A good technique to hinder the sight of the target. My question is, it says it can stay active, do I need to maintain focus on it?

Izaku manipulates his earth chakra into the ground and rises a large rock that is slammed back down nearly afterwards, crushing the ants in front of him.

If allowed, it would be pretty neat to counter a close combat move by rising the rock beneath you, thus rising your body in the process and dodging the technique as you then slam it against the target.​

Izaku naturally thursts his left palm forward similar to his gentle fist style using the first form. While doing so he molds earth chakra around that palm, encasing it in rock that is then shape manipulated to be released as a hardened projectile.

Pretty neat if used in combination with Gentle Fist. By that I mean taking advantage of the Hyuga's stance to release a fast palm thrust, releasing the attack in the process. Surprisingly enough, it can travel up to long range and is very versatile. It can be released in several methods.​

Both techniques are pretty simple.

Izaku channels his chakra into the ground beneath a strawdummy. He manipulates the very ground which causes two formations of rock to rise on either side at an angle, causing the dummy to be blown backwards as the opposing rocks collide with one another.

Very hard for me to picture to rocks slamming against each other and only sending the user flying. He seems like a very mellow earth technique considering the user is sent flying with damage instead of crushed or hurt in other ways.

Izaku forcefully stomps his right foot on the ground whilst channeling his earth chakra through it. Upon contact with the surface of the floor, he injects it with his earth chakra in order to cause a chain reaction of fractures to travel forward, releasing earthen debris in the process that would end at the location of the target, sending them into the air with damage.

Another earth technique that sends the user flying. This one seems more useful if the target is either rushing towards you, or clones are. It would give you the chance to attack both at the same time so long as they are in a somewhat linear path.

Perform the required hand seals and then place your hand down onto the ground and upon doing so manipulate the earth beneath and around your opponent to spiral inwards on itself, basically creating a sort of whirlpool in the solid ground crushing anyone sucked into it, burying them alive. Ofcourse it's more effective in an area where the ground is already quite rocky. The size can vary, personally I'd say from however small you want it to be to upto a radius of roughly five meters... perhaps bigger.

Easily avoided by escaping upward and the spikes in this case can only emerge from around your opponent, not below them.. though on the contrary it means these are also longer than the spikes you've previously learned and the one you'll learn later on in the B-Ranks.

After performing the required hand seals, Izaku slams his hand into the ground and releases his molded earth chakra. He manipulates it around a tree, causing the ground to cave-in on itself like a rocky-whirlpool, "drowning" the tree in damaging rocks.

A neat technique that even reaches up to long range. If there is slight water around the target this cave-in will cause the water to be drawn towards him as he tries to avoid it.

Izaku focuses his chakra on the ground and around another tree. He manipulates the shape of the soil around the tree into four large spikes that are slightly away from the tree and extend at an angle to skewer from those points.

Since it rises the spikes from the sides, it means the target will have slightly more time to defend. However if he wants to go into the air, he will have to go directly upwards and not to the sides because the angle at which the spikes are coming from will get him unless he is extremely fast.

Izaku manipulates his earth chakra inside of his gut, to then release a muddy substance that starts to harden. Using shape manipulation, Izaku shapes it like himself, a replica exactly. Izaku then deactivates the technique, causing it to crumble onto the ground into rubble.

As you mentioned, they are more resistant to damage, specially taijutsu. And instead of dispersing they turn to ruble, this could work to my advantage if I follow it up with a technique that manipulates earth debris.

Like previously learned techniques, Izaku manipulates his earth chakra and channels it into the ground beneath him. He then begins to shape manipulate the earth itself, rising it in the dome formation in order to protect himself.

Unlike other techniques, this one clearly allows you to not only guard yourself but also multiple team mates, which seems rather useful.

Izaku slams his hands on the ground while focusing his earth chakra into it. Just like previous techniques, he begins to manipulate the soil and earth in order to rise in front of him 1/4th of a dome, using shape manipulation to achieve it.

This seems like a variant of similar techniques I've learned, and since it can't be created into a whole dome, it will leave you exposed to the sides. This also means you wont cage yourself completely and are able to move freely afterwards. Also as you pointed out it would obscure my vision of my target in front of me. But unlike full domes, I would be able to see them flanking me.

Izaku focuses chakra inside of his gut as he then releases it in the form of mud bullets, releasing several ones as he turns his head from side to side, creating a wide spread of bullets that hit several different trees.

As it states, it is a stronger and more widespread version of the previous technique. The only thing I can point out is that it's stronger and I can hit more targets. However, the more I spread it, the weaker it becomes.

I believe this one would be the parent technique, thankfully I've already learned it in my Ninjutsu training. As far as the roleplaying goes, I will have to skip out on it, as you may already know I am not really interested in the other elements so my roleplaying interests also translate into that, it just a means to an end, the end being a teaching position. ^-^

(Shinra Banshō Dōka No Jutsu) - Assimilate All Creation Technique

Description: The user can take on the properties of any earthen material they touch and harden any part of there body. This jutsu also lets the user turn into fine grains of rock that can be used to do another jutsu. The issue with using this technique is that the user will gain all the weaknesses of the material they mimic, even if they are granted their strengths.

A thing I don't like about the first technique is that a set-up time, meaning I have to use a technique before I can perform it. In most cases, this may seen as a waste. However, because the initial technique doesn't allow you to perform any techniques while in the merged form, it means this is one of the only ways to defend or attack while still being assimilated to the material you touched. The technique is clear cut, you collect more debris and rocks in order to form your body and enhance it into a large ball that is then launched towards a desired target. A way to counter this technique would either be to get the user before using it, meaning while he has assimilated the properties of a surface. If he is able to gather the materials, a wave of water could be used strong enough to push back the target. The round sphere would work against them as they would begin to roll backwards. Another and more aggressive approach would be to use earth's natural weakness and release a lightning attack strong enough to pierce through the sphere or simply shatter it into pieces with a strong enough wide spread attack.

I am not quite sure why the technique states Mid-Long range when it clearly describes the user riding it, which means it would originate from his short range. Either way, I like this technique because it has multiple usages. It could be used as a counter-attacking technique, manipulating the earth to ride the wave to avoid an incoming projectile based technique within reason, nothing too big or major while at the same time attacking the target as you travel forward. The technique can also be used to manipulate the earth itself beneath the target in order to bind them. Considering it reaches up to long range, this is a plus to the technique's actual reach of creation.

Can both methods be used within the same technique, or only one per usage? Meaning, the wave and the earth binding beneath the target?

I'd have to believe that if your controlling the earth to ride on, you wouldn't be able to focus more chakra somewhere else in order to further use the technique in another area. But I'll ask my sensei just in case.

Supplementary wise, this can be used to change your appearance, making you seem like someone or something else as long as the armor is intact.

(Doton: Doro Ookami) - Earth Release: Mud Wolves

A very unique technique, in fact one the most unique ones I have seen thus far. Unfortunately it is another set up technique, that needs a full turn to activate. First the user needs to lay down a scroll unraveled somewhere around the field, a popular place in which his target might get close to in order for it to self activate via their own chakra source. This task in itself seems very hard to accomplish without being noticed. Chances are, you would have to hide it while under concealment like the hidden mist or something similar. Or maybe when the target goes underground, though he may be able to sense the seal. Although maybe not, at least not until it self activates. This technique varies in strength, it depends solely on how many wolves the user wants to make, the maximum being three of course. Each wolf has the ability to self regenerate if they are destroyed, I would assume so long as they aren't destroyed completely, like erased from the face of this earth. It seems like the wolves have a will of their own and they will continue to attack the target until they deactivate (2 turns) or they are completely destroyed. This is a huge plus because it means the user will not have to focus his chakra manipulation on them. Since they can be reformed back, I see two ways to take care of the wolves. One would be to blow them apart and scatter their mud particles into various directions, buying time for the regeneration. Another would be to use a water wave or a wide spread water technique to both scatter them and water down the mud, making it even more liquid so that reforming would take it's toll and time. Another way would be to manipulate the terrain itself to make it so that they can't reach you.

(Doton no Yoroi) - Earth Release Armor

A neat earth based defense that coats the user's body in stone. I believe this technique could be used to release from illusions due to the surge of chakra, that is so long as it is released from the user's pores. If it is gathered from the ground, then that's another story. The user's defense increases, however due to the weight of the stone their speed would decrease and one might even say that their mobility might suffer as well, possibly not allowing them to move so aerodynamically. Not only does their defense increase but also their overall close quarter damage. Needless to say this armor is weak to lightning, though that is a given considering the nature of the technique. A plus to this technique is that it can stay active, but I would assume that the user is only restricted to regular ninjutsu and earth elemental affinity while maintaining the activation of it. A way to defend against it, would obviously be to use a lightning technique. If the target tried to get in close range, I would use a lightning barrier technique that expands from my body, it would allow me to deal with the entire armor as a hole. Another would be to make them lose their footing, for example creating the surface in which they stand to mud. The extra weight would cause them to sink that much faster and force a deactivation, most probably.

This is another armor of sorts. With the hand seal you channel earth Chakra throughout your body to turn your skin into steel like defenses. It'll turn your skin black, increase defensive potential and increase the power of your close combat attacks. Though, naturally you'd be vulnerable to lightning
