She summoned Katsuya to heal a bunch of people. She was even ready to face Pein in her weak condition till Naruto stopped her.

She failed to save Kakashi and a number of other ninjas.Thats why I said she saved like 40% of the village but failed to protect it in a concrete manner by fighting Pain while ninjas like Kakashi were doing that very thing.Healing is good but simultaneously more people were getting slaughtered so what was the point? All she did was talk tough but failed in actual delivery

She was also gonna get wrecked by Asura Path(the Weakest Path which Kakashi killed as did Jiraiya and also Naruto with one Punch) looking at her jaw drop till Naruto saved her.Pain was literally succeeding in doing whatever the fck he wanted.Jiraiya's fight with Pain was much more epic

I was very disappointed with Tsunade in the Pain Arc.I remember I was expecting a fight when Deva Path landed in on her but she did jack shit instead hoping Naruto would arrive.

Wow. Everything the K11 did during the war wasn't enough to cement them all being promoted to jonin. Considering what Lee did to protect the village in The Last; that's even more shocking.

Shikamaru making Jonin, I don't find surprising at all. Sakura though? I suspect Tsunade may have promoted her student just prior to leaving office. Recall Shizune is also a jonin and she's weaker than Sakura and has no feats.

Nearly? I wouldn't call an almost lucky blast of poison fog a close solo. Kabuto though, out fought Tsunade and severed Shizune's Achilles tendons in that fight. Genin Naruto managed to pancake Kabuto with rasengan. Which took Kabutops out of the fight, even though Kabuto had started regenning before the attack hit.

Becoming Kage seems to be a retail process. Just who the majority and the previous Kage like better.

Hashirama wanted Madara to be the 2nd but Madara defected. So Tobirama became the 2nd.

Tobirama was between Hiruzen and Danzo, but Hiruzen spoke up first so Tobirama appointed him. He even tells Danzo he was too slow in deciding.

Hiruzen had to choose between Orochimaru and Minato for the 4th. Danzo supported Oro, but Hiruzen saw the darkness growing in Oro at the time and instead choice Minato.

The Konoha Elders wanted Jiraiya for the 5th but he turned them down. They settled for Tsunade since she was also at Jiraiya's level and was trained by Hiruzen.

For the 6th it was down to Kakashi and Danzo. Danzo pushed things in his favor and was made acting 6th but that didn't last long. After the war, Tsunade probably choice Kakashi over Naruto, feeling Kakashi would be a better leader in the post war reconstruction era. Kakashi was a prospect Kage replacement for Tsunade as far back as chapter 367. However Kakashi never wanted to be Hokage and stated as much several times. I think he only took the job as a favor to Obito. This of course after Kakashi lost his sharigan and the use of raikiri and ended up being weaker than current Tsunade.

After Kakashi finished seat warming, Naruto was Kakashi's choice to replace him.

Hashirama died before Tobirama, who died during Hiruzen's young adult/teen years. He was much older when he trained 12-13 year old Tsunade.

it's a pretty much solid rumor, i think they were rushing him for time or something, she should have fought pein and it's something that i would never forget, he could have made that fight amazing because we knew not much about tsunade at that point power wise. Basically do the same thing he did with jiraya vs pein we saw so much of his skills. Disappointed.

She is weaker than Jiraiya so its possible that she would lose badly against Deva Path thats why it was not shown

Well even I was suprised when he did that. Because he did it in an instant.

Shikamaru said that Hiruzen was the only one that could do anything. The Kages were weakened from their fight with Madara.
