If Itachi could shitstomp Obito then why didn't he just defeat him from the start?
You also said Itachi with intel would be able to defeat Obito. But the thing is that Itachi didn't have the intel on Obito in the manga, so by that logic, he wouldn't have had the means to win anyhow.

Because Itachi did not have intel on Obito's abilities, he didn't know for sure if he was stronger. And on top of that, he was constantly surrounded by Obito's allies. Obito, on the other hand, had pretty much full intel on Itachi and admitted inferiority, as shown in my scans.
Did I ever say Itachi without intel would not be able to defeat Obito? Nope.

Obito never admitted inferiority. All that he said was if Itachi knew the secret to his jutsu, then the trapped would have most likely worked. That doesn't mean he would be able to win in a straight up fight.
Also, Obito and Itachi were alone together when they first met. Neither of them had intel on each other at that point. All that was known was that Obito wanted to destroy Konoha.
Itachi instead of protecting the village and eliminating the threat decided to join him. So you're telling me that Itachi backed down because he feared Obito?

No, what difference would intel have made in that scenario when he was already dead? He obviously meant that Itachi would've murdered his ass when he was alive.
Feared? No.

Not in a straight up fight he wouldn't. Itachi's only option was to sneak attack Obito because he knew he was outclassed in combat and power.
You said that Obito was scared of Itachi, which is why he didn't attack Konoha. Then you also said that Itachi didn't attack Obito because he was surrounded by his allies.
So what's to stop Obito from attacking Konoha if his allies were there protecting him? Your reasoning makes no sense. Obito was just honoring a pact. Itachi would help him if he spared Konoha for the time being.
Secondly, Obito had no reason to attack Konoha before Itachi's death anyhow since they needed to capture the jinchuriki in a numerical order. Obito believed he caught Killer Bee and initiated the attack on Konoha.
He would have done so regardless if Itachi were alive or not.

What a fail post, Itachi dropped dead via Ninja AIDS whereas Obito died saving Naruto, Kakashi, and Sasuke and decided to give death the finger and keep fighting anyway. Btw, great that you chose not to show Obito's more numerous badass moments, considering he could likely kill Itachi with only one MS.
