That's exactly what he didn't know, because he didn't have intel on Obito, idiot.

Which I have showed in my scans, yes. Yes, that and that he didn't have intel on Obito.

Yeah, because Obito was such an honorable man, right? Ask Kishi? I only showed you the manga facts, if you want to question the manga do it with him.

Now you're just straight up denying words of Kishi himself, m8.

Obito didn't attack Konoha because he didn't capture the Hachibi. Once he captured the Hachibi, he initiated the attack on Konoha. That was reluctantly after Itachi's death.

Obito gained a powerful ally by keeping a pact. The reason why he was reluctant that Itachi was dead was because he knew he would eventually have to dispatch him once the time to attack Konoha came. Since Itachi was gone, he no longer had to worry about Itachi.

It has nothing to do with Obito fearing Itachi. Itachi was just an obstacle in the near future that was going to cause trouble and with that out of the way, Konoha was off limits.

He would have still attacked Konoha regardless.

Yeah, since Itachi was gone, he no longer had to worry about Itachi shitstomping him if he had touched Konoha.

Proof?

Because he had the Akatsuki to back him up if Itachi tried anything. You literally said that Itachi didn't attack Obito because Akatsuki was there to protect him.

Obito outsmarted Itachi and cornered him, that's why Itachi couldn't do anything.

I said that was possibly one of the reasons, the main reason was because he didn't have intel on him.

The only way Obito outsmarted Itachi was by hiding his abilities from him, which can't really be considered outsmarting.

What possibly makes you think he'd fear Itachi? What did Itachi ever have (beyond AIDS, I suppose) that could harm Obito?
The manga does, as he implied it himself.
Izanami, for example, would neg that fodder.

So Itachi working under Obito, letting Akatsuki capture 7 bijuus, and letting countless people die is not outsmarting Itachi?

Itachi would have to somehow get Obito into a situation in which Izanami was applicable. And Kabuto broke out of it.

And Itachi and all the other Uchiha hide behind their susano'os, what's your point, he's using his natural powers.
>Says there is nothing wrong with Obito using Kamui since it's his natural power
>Bashes Itachi by saying he uses Genjutsu to win fights

Okay, I've established that you're incompetent.

Fair enough, I'm just saying, Itachi being a better genjutsu user than Obito is a pointless argument, hell, if Itachi was actually smart he'd have used Kotoamatsukami on Obito.

Are you forgetting he wanted to make Sasuke think he was a lunatic criminal?
Great, and how'd that work out for him? Oh yeah, his entire plan failed. The truth was revealed, Sasuke became a criminal instead of a champion, and Konoha was destroyed and Sasuke even helped by killing one of its leaders.

Sounds like Itachi was played.

Yeah, because Obito hid his abilities, to make sure Itachi wouldn't neg-diff him.
Which was the only way Obito outsmarted Itachi, which isn't really outsmarting.

Oh, you mean the plan that failed so spectacularly that Sasuke wound up becoming a genocidal maniac?
Irrelevant.
