Alright, nice work. Now yes Byakugan users will be able to easily perceive through the mist with their dojutsu. But this effectively blocks Rinnegan and Sharingan users entirely from their chakra-vision and their regular vision. Now for the sake of the RP this technique does not actually change with the amount of chakra placed into. You'll always use the same amount. But you can sort of determine the thickness of the mist through freeform description which is another strength of the technique. Although usually in any case unless you say otherwise this technique will block eyesight for all except for Byakugan users. Now the technique does certainly take a little bit of time to spread out on the battlefield. Should you expel it from your mouth it'll take a little time leaving an opening for a large scale fuuton to be used to blow it away before it has a chance to really spread out. Of course this is compensated by using a water source which would release the mist from its entire body.

Now use this technique with caution. This deprives you of your sight too unless you possess the Byakugan. And deprivation of sight can be quite dangerous. But don't forget of your other senses. Depending on how your opponent acts while this technique is active you may be able to hear them. Smelling them would be quite difficult without being an Inuzuka or if they are currently doused in something that emits a strong odor.

Now I want you to explain to me how you would counter this should it be used on you.
If it were to be used on me, I would counter in a few ways. I could use the hiding like a mole technique to hide underground, completely away. I could use a wind style technique to blow away the mist around me or make it so the mist is only blocking the opponent's field of vision. I could also simply try to jump above the mist if it is within my capabilities to jump high enough above the mist. I could also throw some kunai or shrunken away from the enemy and aim that at completely different spots in order to confuse the enemy by messing with his reliance on sound should his field of vision be blocked as well

Now with Hiding like a Mole there are a lot of reasons why that is extremely dangerous. Should your opponent discover your location they will easily be able to kill you while you're underground. We can go through why hiding like a mole is very dangerous if you want. Now yes, you could definitely use a fuuton to blow it away and blow it simply onto an opponent. But keep in mind size and shape. A focused small scale fuuton won't be able to blow this away, especially if its been emitted for a little while. So large scale is good in this case.

Questions?

Alright, great. Remember you always can ask my anything. This next technique is extremely simple. Essentially you mold your chakra and produce suiton chakra and release it from either hand and shape it to a sword of your liking. This technique is versatile in the shape of the sword you can produce giving you some freeform control over that. What is special about this is that this is the first example of a 'solid water' technique. The sword you create will not give way to obstructive materials within elemental weaknesses and strengths. And it allows you to cut through objects as normal. Do the regular^^.

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

Itachi begins molding his chakra and gets into a fighting stance. He then opens out his palm and water begins to appear that slowly takes the shape of a sword. After the entire shape is complete, Itachi aims it at the fallen tree branch from before and cuts it in half with the sword.

Now this is an extremely beneficial due to its simplicity. For one, it requires no hand seals, so it can be made quickly. And two, because of that, it can be made while running so the momentum is already set and the opponent can get caught off guard by the surprise sword that appeared. Or, if there is close battle between two people, the sword can effectively be made to counter an incoming punch or kick.

I do have one question though, can this jutsu only create swords, or any type of blade weapon? I'm sure it can at least create other types of swords such as katanas, european swords, sabers, or fencing swords correct?

As long as it fits the general definition of a sword and has a logical size and shape then yeah you get a good bit of freeform description.

Perfect, alright, ready to move on =D
Excellent o-o. The next technique is fairly simple and can actually be performed already with Suiton no Jutsu. Although I've been told before that there are slight differences since this is actually created to make a shield. But honestly there isn't much of a difference. Anyways, essentially you create a shield of water from either of your arm to protect you from incoming projectiles and CQC. Do the regular. Keep in mind that you must maintain the shield should you want to keep it up and while you're doing such you can't actually perform other techniques. It is the rule regarding concentration. You cannot perform two techniques simultaneously.

( Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Shield Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.

Itachi nods and releases the technique, making water fall to the floor. He then begins molding his chakra and gets into a fighting stance. He then opens out his palm and water begins to appear that slowly takes the shape of a shield. After the entire shape is complete, Itachi aims his other arm at it with a strong fist to hit the shield and make sure it is solid. His fist hits the water and due to losing slight concentraition, the fist goes slightly into the shield as if it were water. He tries again and focuses more. This time, he hits the shield, just as it would act as a solid.

I do have another question though, can this jutsu throw the shield? (Captain America Style)

We discussed movement already on Skype. And no, you can't throw the shield. In this case the shield really can't leave your body as you need to concentrate on it and have chakra flow into it. Should you attempt it I'd say that the shield would just disperse into a harmless body of water. Now for the next technique you will weave a series of three hand seals. Now in the RP you may or may not have learned this yet but hand seals can be reduced in number and speed depending on if you specialize or master an element. If you have questions on this feel free to ask.

Anyways, after weaving the hand seals you will create a whip of water in either of your hands that is capable of reaching up to mid-range and can be used as a lashing weapon or binding tool. You can even use the whip to whip away projectiles within logical size and shape sort of making it a defensive weapon as well. The whip is similar to the Sword of Draining in that you condense it to become effectively solid. Now, as per description you can actually channel raiton through the whip creating a water/lightning combination allowing you to electrocute anyone you lash or bind with the whip. Give it a try. No need to attempt the lightning part as you have no yet (as far as I know) begun your raiton training nor learned any techniques yet. But nonetheless try out the whip. I want you to be descriptive in how you bind a target.

(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.

Itachi nods and performs the 3 hand seals. He then sticks his right palm out and begins forming the technique, making water fall to the floor. He then begins molding his chakra and gets into a fighting stance. He then opens out his palm and water whip begins to appear. Itachi places his right foot forward and left foot back. He holds the whip with his right hand behind his torso and his left arm extended forwarded, with the elbow bent. He then aims at the tree branch and throws his right hand forward lashing at the branch. The whip snaps the branch and causes a section to fly in the air. Itachi then throws the whip again at the branch section in the air and the end of the whip wraps around the branch, binding it. Immediately after binding the section in the air, Itachi pulls it in. He then takes his fist out and punches the branch that is bound by the whip.

This is a useful technique, due to being able to bind and attack opponents. A downside though may be the three hand seals required to perform the technique, which doesn't allow for as much freedom and time like the previous techniques.

Don't worry about three hand seals too much. In most situations you'll be able to weave three hand seals fairly quickly. That's usually as high as I like to go with hand seals before I need to think about how much time I actually have. Plus, you can always reduce the hand seals for this technique through mastery or speed them up with specialty. Anyways, good job.

The next technique is your first glue like water technique. Through two hand seals you'll spit out this water to cover a large surface should you please, or a small area. That is a nice feature about the technique. You have a lot of room to do what you please with it. Now take note that you can actually not be trapped by it should you manage to walk on top of it before being caught. But if you or your opponent acknowledge being caught by this then you have to deal with the water directly. So try it out and tell me what you think!

(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field
Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

Itachi nods and performs the 2 hand seals. He then leans his head back building up the chakra in his mouth. He then moves his head forward and shoots out the syrupy water onto the floor in front of him. He makes a decently small pond of the water and stands behind it. He picks up a flat stone near him and attempts to skip it. When he throws the rock, it makes an immediate stop the instant it touches the syrupy water.

This is a useful technique, due to being able to bind opponents and effectively trap them in your own desired place. I have a question though. If the opponent is underground, and I manage to perform the technique above them before the pop out, would they be stuck below the ground? Also, what would be an effective method of escaping from being stuck in if caught?

One note. In an actual fight you will want some more detail than 'decently small pond'. As everyone has a different definition of what that may look like xD. But nonetheless good work. To answer your questions; if your opponent is underground and attempts to come up from this they will have their head trapped in it and if they do nothing about it will drown. And should you be caught in this the best bet you can do is destroy it or escape from it using a stronger technique (Hurricane Fist, B-Rank wind, for example).

Regarding clone techniques there are several variations to them

The standard clone technique is taught at the academy level. These clones are merely illusions and have no physical body to affect the surroundings. Another interesting note is that these clones do not cast shadows. Moving on to more advanced clones, these clones disperse chakra evenly amongst the clones and have physical bodies that each share the same abilities and powers of the original. If one clone were to get hit, it would disperse. Now depending on the type of clone used, a certain effect may happen after being dispersed. For example, with a shadow clone, if the clone vanishes, a cloud puff is released. If a water clone gets hit and disappears, then water drips in it's place. If a lightning clone were hit, it has an added effect of shocking the user should they physically hit the clone, as it turns into lightning which would shock on contact. The same applies for other elements and materials such as ink.

Okay, that was actually very good :). Nice work.

I want to explain this OOC. First I'll explain clones in the sense of our RP and the battle rules involving them as there are applications of clone techniques. Now, a copy/paste from the Battle Rules thread which you can find .

➔ Clones of any kind may only be used three times in battle and there will be a maximum of 4 clones created at a time.

Lets go through that a little. So of course there are multiple kinds of clones. Soon you'll be learning the Lightning Clone which is as it sounds - a lightning clone variant capable of using lightning related techniques. We've seen Kakashi use it quite a few times throughout his battles in the manga. There are some other variants as well. Such as the Water Clone, Shadow Clone, etc. However those are for different training sessions.

Anyways, the next point is the "three times per battle" point. So this is pretty self explanatory. This means you can use any clone technique a maximum of three times. So you can use the lightning clone once and shadow clone twice and you'll have reached your limit. This is A LOT. You'll probably never find yourself exceeding that. Clones are quite powerful in their own right but also quite dangerous as your chakra does get spread out quite thin. So I wouldn't worry about using clones very often. The next point is about four clones being created at a time. Again, pretty self explanatory. Four clones max per application means 12 clones total. There is only one way to exceed this amount and that is by using the forbidden ranked shadow clone technique which creates 8 shadow clones. That however has its own drawbacks and is quite dangerous. I also think only Naruto bios can use it so I'd have to check lol.

Anyways, before we get into the technical realm of clones, do you have any questions?

I took this from my other training thread. These are the rules regarding clones in our RP. There are some restrictions on their usage and you'll want to know them so you don't break any major rules.

The clones are still limited to 3 technique rule correct? But can all the clones perform the same technique and that counts as one or how does that work?

You and your clones are in total limited to 3 techniques per turn. That never changes. However, the way timeframe behaves does. Essentially it lets you perform two techniques simultaneously. Basically it tightens timeframe by speeding up techniques and combinations. Does that make sense?
