Hinata haters in a nutshell. If a person dares think that Hinata has potential (and not even saying that she's a better character as is), and explains said opinion, they feel compelled to insult like 12 year old children to make their view look legit as if it's an absolute fact. Heaven forbid anyone acknowledges what could have been done with her and compare it to what could have been done with Sakura. I know you guys think you're portraying yourselves as geniuses, but what you really look to other people is a bunch of arrogant A-holes. Look at us, none of us like Sakura (I myself am neutral, I literally don't give a crap about her either way), yet we're not bashing on her. In fact, we're even finding ways that would improve Sakura as well. So, to sum it up, all the "Hinata tards" are explaining their opinions and treating the character fairly respectfully (minus some exceptions), and the ones who disagree just simply insult. Who's the real tards in this situation?

You should keep these rambles to yourself, as I actually have posted, several times, on how and why she's a pitiful character that never belonged in the manga. From her lack of motivation or near vehement motivation that simply circled Naruto, as if he was some kind of abstract philosophical entity that might have granted her absolution in all spheres of life, to her general disregard for being a decent Shinobi - something that ended up her father throwing her unceremoniously outside his home for a fitter heir.

She is the most stagnant character in the entire manga, only matched in this mediocrity by Minato's banal existence. From her turgid Naruto-Kun warbles to her complete inability to trudge forward and find some sort of meaning in one ... or heaven's forbid, any sphere of life. One fails to find any semblance of decency in her faffing around through the entirety of her life, so that she could finally bed Naruto. Her citadel of Shinobi values is, in fact, quite empty and requires a sizable refill after her reason for living is taken out.

She was a failure as a ninja; a fact she never remedied till the very end. When Neji, a character par excellence that shouldered the burdens of ostracization from the political sphere and a voice in the system, was killed for her to enjoy her base interludes and rut to her heart content. At the end, she still barely managed to make a few poor movements to finally complete 64 hits - something her cousin managed when he was thirteen. That is the apex of the term pitiful. In fact, the examples should begin from her failures in all walks of life, except for one single, pointless thread that kept her going. Goal achieved. Literary Nirvana reached.

She has literally zero value in the manga, and is a product of poor literary tropes that always manage to bring a decent plot to its knees. In fact, she isn't even a confidant(e) - a type of character - for the gibber-jabber spewing, colourfully idiotic hero. Hence, even in this regard, she fails as a support character. Has she ever supported Naruto in any manner that was meaningful? Has she ever done anything as a shinobi, or if I become a bit generous, as an individual with her own sense of Self? Has she ever been a decent catalyst to move the plot forward? Then where are these absurd and puerile claims of her adding something to the plot, or being a decent character coming from?

Kindly, bring out some facts rather than pages from your own fiction that should stop the opposing remarks. Frankly speaking, it would be such a toil, given the material. So, looks like your post was a Hinata-fan in a nutshell, conjuring self-made facts to boost her cheap character.

I don't think that would have made a better team. BUT, Hinata and Sakura DON'T BELONG in their respective teams. Team Kurenai is way too sensor-tipped. The team is not at all balanced.

Team Kakashi is highly offensive, without defensive experts nor sensors. Kakashi had the potential to teach all three, but chose to focus on Sasuke.
Team Kurenai is the same, but with 3 sensors. No proper student for Kurenai, which explains why we never saw their training routines.

If teams were indeed based on balance, and a 3-girls 1-cup err 2 guys 1 girl philosophy, then these teams would be much better, IMO:

Team Kakashi: Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata
<> Lead team, with a diversion / decoy specialist (Naruto), Ninjutsu specialist (Sasuke) and a Defense / Taijutsu / Sensor specialist (Hinata), under Kakashi who can train all three well with his knowledge of their backgrounds, and abilities. Also, Hinata can train Gentle fist under her father / Neji as she does now.

Team Guy: Neji, Lee, Sakura
<> Taijutsu masters, with a pure taijutsu attacker (lee), a medic / taijutsu user (Sakura) and a defensive / supportive / offensive taijutsu / sensor with ranged attacks (Neji). Guy is in a good position to train all three of them.

Team Asuma: Shikamaru, Tenten, Kiba
<> The grandmaster: Shikamaru's team, with a weapons specialist (Tenten) who can take Shikamaru's tactics to the next level, and a finisher (Kiba). Asuma is also an offensive weapons specialist who can train Tenten and Kiba well. Shikamaru trains under Shikaku.

Team Kurenai: Shino, Chouji, Ino
<> KKGs: A medium range finisher / strategist (Shino), a reckless attacker (choji) and a stunner (Ino, pun unintended), who complement each others' abilities. Kurenai can easily instill some genjutsu skills in Shino and Ino, taking the team even further.

Of course, we'll need to get rid of the current love angles for Team Kakashi. Hinata's feelings will need to be more secret, and Naruto being dumb as always, never realizes, instead going for random girls. Sakura can drool over Neji (or romance Sasuke across teams), while Lee drools over her. That's one way. The other is to simply change love interests.

Really? and Sakura couldn't have been better if Kishimoto actually gave her an emo background or had her parents die during the sand sound invasion so she could relate to her teammates?
Funny how he DIDN'T GIVE her parents. PERIOD.
Talk about CHARACTER BACKGROUND...
Also, WHY enhance such SECONDARY character like Hinata with a WHOLE FAMILY???
Not JUST Neji (who could have had his FATE story while NOT being Hinata's cousin too) - but an abusive father, a contesting heiress sister, a dead uncle, even someone like a guardian.
Seriously, we have more Hyuugas that have NAMES, than we have characters that Sakura interacts with on a normal day (none of which are even her family).
Is that how you should make MAIN and SECONDARY characters???

Or actually write a GOOD story that DOESN'T have the shipping hype (all parings being somewhat obvious from the start), instead focusing on CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ninja-wise.
Would be a really good story about *LE GASP* NINJAS!
I think Kishi was a real idiot to invest into all this red herring/dead horse crap.
It ruined a lot of the NINJA side of the story, not only the characters, but even the potential story developments.
There was NO NEED to make Naruto chase Sasuke for the entire manga - it'd be way better if they actually trained and progressed TOGETHER, while still having the Itachi idea (with either a really evil Itachi, or with a fun surprise like in canon, but so that Sasuke would actually use Team 7's support, instead of running away to a random villain).
Also, either go all the way up to the DBZ tier of destruction, OR go the other way and make actual ninja-magic be tricky and cunning.
But most and foremost, FOCUS on that ninja-magic, instead of STUPID love pentagrams and even MORE stupid political issues.
Make it a NINJA story, dammit.

Fact of the matter is any character could be 'better in your view' according to how the author writes them.
Bingo. Someone gets it.
No need to ponder over a specific character's fanfics to make it seem something special.

Even a better-written Sakura still has less character breadth than Hinata, IF you keep their initial character stories the same.
Sakura surely could've become a better ninja, but she would never be able to add much to the CLAN or KAGUYA topics in any case.
Unless you fully rewrite her from the scratch, but that's NOT our topic here.

Sigh........... What you fail to realize is that 90% of the flaws that you posted is more or less related to her limited screen time due to being a side character. As a main, she'd have more time dedicated to her, and to focus on the other parts of her life, such as her clan. Which is what this whole thread is about. You're incapable of looking past what is. You ignore the potential she had, and only compare what she's been in the manga with only extended screen time. If I should keep my "rambling" to myself, then you should never ever write any of your hate-filled nonsense regarding Hinata.

You're drastically wrong about her motivation. She's a gentle person, and a quitter at first, which is why her father threw her out. She then sees how Naruto never gives up, and is inspired by him, so she decides to adopt his ideals in order to better herself. Then, she falls in love with him. She's not the empty character that you make her out to be. She didn't change herself for her love of Naruto, it's Naruto's ideals that did so (which happens to pretty much everyone in the manga, so faulting her for this makes no sense), and she fell in love with him because of it. Huge difference.

Hinata doesn't change a lot, but in case you haven't noticed, this is applicable to virtually all characters in the manga after Naruto changes them. Take Neji and Garra for example. The only difference is that Hinata's change happened prior to her introduction, and we got flashbacks of it. Wow.........saying that she has little meaning. That's ridiculous. I take it you somehow skipped chunin exams, Pain arc, and Juubi Revival arc altogether? Hinata's main role is to be Naruto's support. She's the one to pick him back up when he's down. That's a huge role, and I don't see how you managed to blot that out of your mind. The fact that you reduce everything about her as merely lust in your mind is nothing more than childish slander just because you expect complexity, and confuse it for impact.

Her combat capability????? Are we really going there????? The main theme of Hinata's fights is that she's unskilled in comparison to the ones she's fighting, yet has the mental strength to keep fighting, against all odds , and keeps getting back up. She keeps fighting, even if she knows it won't turn out well for her. That's a high-level of mental strength. Naruto's not her sole motivation. It should be fairly obvious her other motivation is to better herself. Her will to fight despite being weaker is something to be respected, not despised. Next. Neji didn't die for the ship. That's absurd. It was done to make Naruto to realize that everything doesn't go his way ("I won't my comrades die) and for Hinata to teach him the important lesson that everything doesn't have to go his way in order to maintain his ideal. Only a tiny fraction of it is for the ship, and what would be the problem for this anyway?

From her lack of motivation

Hinata does have motivation to make herself better.

Kurenai noted that Hinata has always wanted to train herself and trains very hhard in order to get better. Hinata was shown to have entered the Chuunin exams as a ways of improving herself. She took on Neji even though she knew she would lse, simply because she wanted to better herself. In 633, she stats she wants to keep moving forward [improving] even if it's a single step at a time.

So you're wrong in saying Hinata has no motivation.

or near vehement motivation that simply circled Naruto, as if he was some kind of abstract philosophical entity that might have granted her absolution in all spheres of life

Naruto motivated her to get better, simple as that. What's wrong with that?

to her general disregard for being a decent Shinobi - something that ended up her father throwing her unceremoniously outside his home for a fitter heir.

If Hinata disregarded being decent a shinobi, she would not have continued trying to improve herself after her father decided to stop training her. and yet, she continued to train on her own and with her team mates, and improved her skills. She managed to learn Air Palm, 64 Palms, and Twin Lion Fists, the latter two being highly difficult abilities to master she also expanded her field radius

She is the most stagnant character in the entire manga, only matched in this mediocrity by Minato's banal existence.

Not true. Hinata's been for from a stagnant character in the manga.

Hinata has had development throughout the entire series, starting from the chunnin exams, to her fight with Neji, to her talk with Naruto, to her mission to track down Itachi, to her confrontation with Pain, to her fighting side by side with Neji, to stopping the Juubi, to saving Naruto, to stating that she'll always move forward, to saving the world, Hinata's character has been anything but stagnant, as her charcater is continusly developed with pretty much each of her appearances.

From her turgid Naruto-Kun warbles

How exactly does saying the name of someone make her a bad character?

to her complete inability to trudge forward and find some sort of meaning in one ... or heaven's forbid, any sphere of life.

She became a mother, a decent Shinobi, fixed her relationship with her family, and saved the world from destruction, tell me what more you want. Lol

One fails to find any semblance of decency in her faffing around through the entirety of her life, so that she could finally bed Naruto.

Hinata was never wasting her time "through the entirety of her life". As the manga has said, she has always trained hard after being neglected by her father. Again, I list off, she's learned 64 palms, Air Palm, and Twin Lion Fists.

Her citadel of Shinobi values is, in fact, quite empty and requires a sizable refill after her reason for living is taken out.

Nope, Hinata has a decent citadel of values outside of Naruto... Oh and btw, Hinata's reason for living is not Naruto, such a thing would apply to someone like Kimimaro or Kabuto.

Hinata was willing to put Naruto aside for Hanabi and the World's safety in the Last, showing she cares about the mission's objective, and she also stated that she wants to protect everyone around her in her speech in 615. She's also said that the Shinobi World War must be won at all costs, and yes, while she does give her reason as being Naruto, this shows that she does not neglect her duties as a shinobi, even go so far as to act as a scout for her division after Neji passed out and helped stop the Juubi's attack.

But I'm sure you'll gloss over those.

She was a failure as a ninja; a fact she never remedied till the very end.

And that's why she became a Chuunin, right? Lol
And that's why she learned high-level jutsus, right? Lol
And that's why she was praised by her father and Naruto, right? Lol
And that's why she saved a whole army, right? Lol
And that's why she was given the title of Byakugan Princess by Hamura, right? Lol
And that's why she was able to save the whole Shinobi world, right? Lol
And that's why she still holds the role of next in line as Hyuga's heir, right? Lol

When Neji, a character par excellence that shouldered the burdens of ostracization from the political sphere and a voice in the system was killed for her to enjoy her base interludes and rut to her heart content.

Hinata was also burdened by the Hyuga clan's politics, so I don't understand why you're trying to make it all about Neji, when it's been said time and time again that her role as Heir was a burden to her..... Unless.... this is some piss poor attempt at making Hinata seem like the bad guy for being born into the Main family.

Kishimoto deciding to kill Neji in order to develop NH doesn't make Hinata a bad character ....

At the end, she still barely managed to make a few poor movements to finally complete 64 hits - something her cousin managed when he was thirteen. That is the apex of the term pitiful.

A split second of hesitation does not equal poor movements. She managed to complete it successfully for the first time there, and thus, now that she knows how to do it properly, she would be able to use it again perfectly. This is honestly such a pathetic tidbit to ***** about, and it further proves what I've alwyas said: That Hinata haters pick on even the most minscule of things to get cry about.

In fact, the examples should begin from her failures in all walks of life, except for one single, pointless thread that kept her going. Goal achieved. Literary Nirvana reached.

What walks of life has Hinata even failed in? she wanted Naruto, she got him. she wanted to become stronger, she got that. she wanted her family to care for her, she got it. she wanted to be a good shinobi, she got it.

What the **** do you see in the manga that she failed in?

She has literally zero value in the manga

If she had no value at all, she would not appear on panel to begin with :/

and is a product of poor literary tropes that always manage to bring a decent plot to its knees.

FFS, you're blaming a character who has barely appeared in 1/7 of the manga as to why the plot sucks?

In fact, she isn't even a confidant(e) - a type of character - for the gibber-jabber spewing, colourfully idiotic hero.

Hinata is confident, very much actually. Look at her interactions with Neji, Pain , Naruto, the Juubi, Toneri, and her general behavior throughout the war arc and in the last movie.

Has she ever supported Naruto in any manner that was meaningful?

Yes. Written exams, chapter 98, Pain arc, chapter 559, 611, 615, 616, 617 and multiple times in the last.

Has she ever done anything as a shinobi, or if I become a bit generous, as an individual with her own sense of Self?

Yes. Entering the Chunnin exams twice, VS Neji, spending time with her family and team mates, going on missions, training to get stronger for her own self, saving the alliance, saving the world, saving Hanabi and retrieving her eyes, and taking care of her daughter....

Has she ever been a decent catalyst to move the plot forward?

Yep. In 98, 437, 615, and a multitude of times in the Last movie.

You bring out a bunch of nonsense and claim that you're the one that's correct.
Hinata-haters in a nutshell, didn't you get it already???
They NEVER use valid facts without imbuing them with 9000% of personal fanfiction.
And I'm disgusted by how they claim that SasuSaku is better than NaruHina by the same user who is faulting Hinata for being all about Naruto.
So, it's OK for Sakura - but NOT OK for Hinata?
Despite Hinata actually BENEFITING from it - and not only herself, but even giving an obvious benefit to Naruto as well???
Unlike Sakura, who only gets worse and worse through her OBSESSION with Sasuke's kcid...

You can criticize how she mainly revolves around Naruto, but you do not say she's irrelevant. That's absurdity bordering delusion. If you hold on to this incorrect opinion, you're battling against the manga itself. Your post is virtually nothing but ugly slander prettied up by fancy words. Yet, you have the gall to tell me I'm the one making stuff up?!!!! Tell you what, check up on your own facts before you pretend you're more accurate than someone else. Otherwise, this happens. You bring out a bunch of nonsense and claim that you're the one that's correct.

So let me guess; you want all of us to share your views to give her some kind of pass because of the fact that she's a side character? I recall Sasori being one as well. With far less panel time. Love these typical excuses from you lot.

What is this garbage? Which part of her did Naruto value that she didn't want to taint with some kind of development? Quieter and gentler means she shouldn't develop as a Shinobi? Should remain glued to her being, well, largely a burden in platoons? The girl couldn't even climb the wall - which genins can - in The Last. Instead, kept screaming for Naruto to save her. She would have plummeted to her death for her inability to perform even a basic tech? The rest of it is as absurd as your support. Quiet and gentle - the two words that say so much about her character, that one doesn't need any more development. Save it.

What about Pein arc? That one scene where she confessed? Let's all cheer for her Shakespearean depth that allowed for Naruto to nearly destroy the village. The Juubi arc where she simply slapped him, when we are all aware that Naruto was not going to jump alliances any time soon. The impact here on the plot is also monumental, give the tropes that she's well-known for as a character. Am I supposed to take this seriously?

Okay, I am chuckling now. There are plenty of characters that come across opponents who are stronger than them. Fighting against all odds - you just managed to define almost every character in the manga. Yeah, that got her so far. Not able to use chakra to climb a wall in The Last and still struggling with 64 palms - barely managing it - and no Kaiten. This whole mantra of 'but she fought against all odds, she never gave up, she is so kind and gentle' must be your definition of character depth. Sadly, it isn't for educated people. It's rather nauseating with this pointless paltry speech, when she's still basically stuck at the same mediocrity where she began from save for minor adjustments that still make her not any more impactful than she was before.

That irony, when someone cannot tell the difference between pep talk and actual emotional support. That was actually always Iruka for Naruto. Now you are just wasting my time with this long tripe. Learn the difference.

How many of these claims are unsubstantiated? Coming from a guy who doesn't even know what a stock character is, this nonsense is obviously expected. By hey, it goes hand in hand with your Naruto and Minato adoration. One shouldn't expect anything less. Claims she doesn't give up? As if that is a prerequisite for a well-written character. She is meek, so we should all abide by your garbage. Posts two pitiful instances that had no impact on the overall plot-value and her stock character moments.

Why don't you go and research first and then waste someone's time.

Hinata does have motivation to make herself better.

That makes her a well-written character, or relevant to the plot?

Kurenai noted that Hinata has always wanted to train herself and trains very hhard in order to get better. Hinata was shown to have entered the Chuunin exams as a ways of improving herself. She took on Neji even though she knew she would lse, simply because she wanted to better herself. In 633, she stats she wants to keep moving forward [improving] even if it's a single step at a time.

So you're wrong in saying Hinata has no motivation.

The motivation that didn't allow her to climb a wall in The Last or the motivation where she pitifully managed 64 palms, or the motivation where she still hasn't managed to do something useful against an opponent to move the plot, or that she still doesn't know rotation? Take your pick.

Naruto motivated her to get better, simple as that. What's wrong with that?

Other than 64 palms in 2.5 years and one right of passage technique which Sasuke managed at 8? So she never did truly climbed out of that mediocre rut?

If Hinata disregarded being decent a shinobi, she would not have continued trying to improve herself after her father decided to stop training her. and yet, she continued to train on her own and with her team mates, and improved her skills. She managed to learn Air Palm, 64 Palms, and Twin Lion Fists, the latter two being highly difficult abilities to master she also expanded her field radius

All students train themselves through their teachers. She isn't a special case. Sasuke had no one to train him after 8. Sakura learned everything through her teacher and had no parents to teach her. Naruto is the same. What makes this 'trying to improve herself' nonsense a factor in her relevance to the plot in general? Twin Lion fists is a Head Branch technique. Sasuke learned one when he was 8. Get back to me when she actually does something decent.

How nice of her to expand her fighting radius by a couple of milimeters and still be at the same spot - the bottom of K-11 barrel.

Her fight with Neji was Neji's development, as that whole fight revolved around Head and Branch family politics. Hinata was never a part of it, as it directly concerned Neji and the death of his father. Learn the difference, since you are giving Neji's plot development here to Hinata. She did literally nothing useful to track Itachi that another Byakugan user couldn't have done. Ability deciphering? Sakura did it. See how chakra vanishing works? Shino did it. But wait, what an awesome development that she took out her Byakugan to check the area.

You mean her pointless confession? What did it add to the plot? She loved him, and Naruto didn't reciprocate till 699 chapters. That is how relevant her character development and impact was. How was that even development, when we have known since her introduction that she had feelings for him? All she did was make things worse, as Naruto went 8 tails and by some miracle of Grace didn't end up destroying Konoha. Character development indeed.

How exactly does saying the name of someone make her a bad character?

When that's all on her mind? Yeah.

She became a mother, a decent Shinobi, fixed her relationship with her family, and saved the world from destruction, tell me what more you want. Lol

Becoming a mother is character development. Listen to this rubbish, folks. Saving the world from destruction is something Naruto did as well, and as the editors state, he never developed from his original introduction in part one. A flat character is also a character type. Saving the world isn't development, in fact, it just plunged her more into the trope category. As if she didn't have enough of those backing her.

Hinata was never wasting her time "through the entirety of her life". As the manga has said, she has always trained hard after being neglected by her father. Again, I list off, she's learned 64 palms, Air Palm, and Twin Lion Fists.

Yet, still at the bottom of the barrel. Besides, I have covered most points for this above. Do give them a look.

Nope, Hinata has a decent citadel of values outside of Naruto... Oh and btw, Hinata's reason for living is not Naruto, such a thing would apply to someone like Kimimaro or Kabuto.

Doesn't seem that way to me, when the entirety of The Last's plot was to culminate in their romance. She didn't have any individuality bar you parroting her desire to learn more. This is the same as having little Self.

She is a shinobi so she had to be called out to duty. So did nameless fodders as well. Every one was contributing in war. Is that some sort of argument? She said she wants to contribute so all hail Hinata?

And that's why she became a Chuunin, right? Lol
And that's why she learned high-level jutsus, right? Lol
And that's why she was praised by her father and Naruto, right? Lol
And that's why she saved a whole army, right? Lol
And that's why she was given the title of Byakugan Princess by Hamura, right? Lol
And that's why she was able to save the whole Shinobi world, right? Lol
And that's why she still holds the role of next in line as Hyuga's heir, right? Lol

None of these have anything to do with character development. You can't be this daft. By god ... Many became Chunin, Sakura became a Jounin, she must have reached the pinnacle of CD in your humble opinion. Listen to this, being a princess and getting praised by someone is character development. Hilarious. Being an heir is also a important dimension in personality. Ingrates. I suggest you read some books and give up the trash character that is called Hinata, as your brain seems addled. I don't think I can digest any more of this absurdity. This is insane ...

No, she wasn't. She was chugged out because she was useless. Her fault, really.

Kishimoto deciding to kill Neji in order to develop NH doesn't make Hinata a bad character ....

It does, because she was forced onto the main front for a pairing. That's Kishimoto's statement. Then you people whine how everyone is unjust, when even Neji was killed to validate her little importance and turn NH into a pairing.

No one does a technique perfectly the second time. Not even Sasuke. This is a minute thing, when all you have been *****ing about is her grand ability 'to over-come things, to always fight, to keep improving'? Take your drab reasoning elsewhere, honestly. I am tired of you Hinata apologists.

What walks of life has Hinata even failed in? she wanted Naruto, she got him. she wanted to become stronger, she got that. she wanted her family to care for her, she got it. she wanted to be a good shinobi, she got it.

Getting Naruto was a character development. In fact, she ended up with him because of popular opinion. Kishimoto's own words, not mine. Neji was also killed for NH. Again, the author's words, not mine. Stronger is such an overreaching and bad term for her. Very slightly improved over the course of three years? That would be appropriate. Good Shinbi? I don't think so.

If she had no value at all, she would not appear on panel to begin with :/

Akamaru is on the panels as well, so is Kiba, so is Chouji, so is Ino etc etc. They all are so relevant to the plot as well. Your reasoning is so amusing.

FFS, you're blaming a character who has barely appeared in 1/7 of the manga as to why the plot sucks?

Learn to read - Tropes bring the plot down. She's just one of them. Why do you Hinata fans have such poor reading comprehension?

Hinata is confident, very much actually. Look at her interactions with Neji, Pain , Naruto, the Juubi, Toneri, and her general behavior throughout the war arc and in the last movie.

Yes. Written exams, chapter 98, Pain arc, chapter 559, 611, 615, 616, 617 and multiple times in the last.

I am not even going to bother with this. Given that you apparently don't know the difference between stock characters and impactful, central or important characters. Her confession has little meaning to the plot. Her doing a 64 palms' attack which Neji had already done some few hundred chapters ago doesn't make her relevant. Her pep talk is absurd, when Iruka was the actual confidant(e) character for Naruto, and then Jiraiya. Her slap was pointless, as being a stock character, it reduced her overall importance when she continued to check the boxes.

The rest is pointless repeat of the same old same old.

Well, from what I've seen from them, they hate SasuSaku as well. They're not hypocrites, they just make up a lot of stuff to justify their dislike for Hinata. Like the "Hinata only cares for Naruto" nonsense.

Had that happened. Kishi probably would have developed the hyuga more.

Really? and Sakura couldn't have been better if Kishimoto actually gave her an emo background or had her parents die during the sand sound invasion so she could relate to her teammates?

Fact of the matter is any character could be 'better in your view' according to how the author writes them.

Except that would be changing Sakura's backstory and character story line altogether. might as well make her a different character if you're gonna do that.

Goddess Ino should have been chosen as the main female character.

No as in the end she would have been useless in the final battle against Kaguya.

Really no female character should be on Team 7, regardless of who they are. The author admits he's not good at writing them, so he should stay away from adding them to the main cast in the future.

Kishi likely would have powered her up before the final battle if Hinata was in T7 the whole series.

She wouldnt have the abilities Sakura has Chakra reserve/medical skills which was the only thing needed in the end so she would have been useless.

As in, make the MOVIE feat into a MANGA one.
Or in other words, make a WHOLE "Otsutsuki-chakra" TEAM fight Kaguya - probably making it more BELIEVABLE as well, not the PnJ shiit it ended up being.
That "Sakura punching Kaguya" shiit is so hilarious when used as some "proof" of Sakura's "greatness", loool.
With a Hamurafied Hinata, it would've actually been BELIEVABLE.
