[Discussion] Do you believe in "Love at first sight"?

I believe people believe they are in love at first sight. When you factor in all of the components that makes love (i.e., intimacy, sacrifice, friendship, commitment, and whatever else you can think of) how can any one person be so sure it's love and not spontaneous attraction?

I don't fall for girls because they're beautiful or looking sexy and let's say I'm not the type that decide things like relationships on my emotions but this has happened to me even before i knew it , I'm in a strong relationship with these type of girls.....Lol

I think you just found her extremely attractive. I personally don't believe in love at first sight. In my opinion love begins to happen when you know someones flaws and weakness (we all have them). As it has been said looks are important but they are fleeting, a personality is forever. You fall in love with someone's personality and looks, but when it's just about the looks it is lust.

I don't believe so. I believe you found her attractive to such a point that you wanted her to notice you, you liked her, she was fine, but I don't consider it love, I'm sure if you saw some hot ass celebrity walking down the road, you might have looked at her in the exact same way. Well Don't take my word for it, I've been brain washed by TV shows, so what do I know.

NO, its a fairy tale, the only thing you are feeling is attraction at first sight, her personality might stink, if it does, then you will put up with it while you see her through rose coloured glasses and then when you get bored with her looks and see someone new the rose glasses will come off, you will see her for what she is and spend the next five years *****ing about what a brat she was.
