It's not an asspull. It just makes one curious as to why she didn't unleash this power earlier, like a few weeks before(manga time) during Pain's invasion? Nevertheless, it's a nice power and she's a very useful shinobi.
Probably not enough chakra at that time to release it

So your saying that it should have been announced that Sakura focusing her chakra into a spot behind her head which would one day create the Yin Seal? Are you serious?

Listen this might be a little over your head but if you go back and read the requirements for having the seal (precise chakra control) then acknowlage the parallel between Tsunade & Sakura you will come to understand that Sakura devolping it was realistic plus inevitable. Not an asspull and many would agree.

Yeah, Kishi should have foreshadowed it so it wouldn't an asspull.

It's pretty obvious he he gave her that at the last minute. He admitted that he forgot about Sakura.

It just seems rather convenient that she had enough chakra to release it at the moment Sasuke arrived at the battlefield to reunite team 7. But I don't care either way as that's a relatively petty matter.

It supposedly required years of effort yet we don't get any indication whatsoever during all of part two that she is preparing for something.

How hard was it to replace one or two panels of Sakura crying and instead put something related to this.

Yeah it reminds me how similar it is that Hinata has Hamura chakra just out of the blue when Naruto comes to rescue her Lol

Well let's put it this way, creating the Yin Seal was always within Sakura capabilities. You would agree?

She had more than wealth of knowlage about Chakra.

She demonstrated sending all of her chakra to a spefic place in her body.

True. Kishi really messed up most of the female characters, although it's worse with Sakura since she's supposedly a main.

That's not foreshadowing. Foreshadowing would be "I'm storing up power". Kishi admitted he forgot about Sakura, btw. This was him trying to make up for it.

The best written female character to me is Konan and she barely said a word..

My good god that logic could be applied to a lot of thing ranging from Nejis death to Sasuke getting a Rinnegan.

So Neji died because Sakura was holding back on purpose.

I guess Sasuke's Chidori was an asspull too.

-No foreshadowing
-Explanation after the fact
