Naoya, you just never seem to catch any luck, do you? xD

Even though Ultimax is still going to take a while, I did manage to get Persona Q yesterday. It's pretty damn good. I might even go as far as saying it's up there with the main series of Persona.

Currenty starting with the third dungeon. (Level 28)

Ah, really? Sorry to hear that.

It was difficult for me to decide due to the amount of available characters. My main is the P3 MC, at least.

At first I wanted to use all the characters evenly, but that was just too much of a hassle. You can only choose 3 characters for your front row party and 2 characters for the back row. (Or vice versa, total of 5). Eventually I settled with:

Front: Minato (P3 MC) - Yu (P4 MC) - Mitsuru
Back row: Zen&Rei - Yukiko

It was difficult for me to decide due to the amount of available characters. My main is the P3 MC, at least.

So far, my party right now consists of Minato, Akihiko, and Aigis for my front and Naoto, Zen/Rei for my back. By the way, did you try out any of the strolls option they have?

I've noticed that Zen&Rei are almost must-haves. Two characters in a single cell with two combat specializations.

Yep, some strolls are actually pretty hilarous. The entire game is written pretty great, to be honest. I also love the side quests. Have you finished the ''Junpei Mystery X'' quest? lol I facepalmed my entire way through that thing.

I'm in the second floor of the Evil Spirit Club. I'm playing on Normal by the way because I heard Etrian Odyssey games tend to be really hard and this is my first time playing this kind of style.

That's the third dungeon, right? I haven't entered it yet, but I heard it has FOE's that randomly appear from time to time.

Yeah, the difficulty isn't comparable to that of Persona 3 or Persona 4. I was actually thinking of choosing hard first, but ended up going for normal. I might just go Risky mode in my second playthrough.

I only played the first Etrian Odyssey half-way and the beginning of Etrian Odyssey 3. I still want to finish them, but my DS is broken. I was thinking of getting it repaired soon so I can get back to them.

But I agree. As soon as a game is out you are in danger of getting spoiled, though. I haven't even received Ultimax yet, but due to the power of the internet I already know almost half of the plot already.

I'll wait for more people to get the game before we begin to discuss even the slightest bit of plot.

The ''spoiler tags'' are rougly 90% about gameplay, so they are quite harmless. Although I feel like starting a game completely fresh without information might be more fun for some.

But yeah, I'll be looking forward to that. So far it's been an incredibly interesting game and there is honestly a lot to discuss.

Well, Zen is voiced by Keith Silverstein, who also voiced Tatsuya. So there's that. ;p
