It takes place in P4's culture festival so yeah, Naoto was there so I assume that yes.
In P3 it takes place when the typhoon hit Port Island (which cancelled the culture festival).

Another thing, how is Q cannon if in Arena/Ultimax the P3 and P4 cast act like they have never knew eachother and no one mentions what happened after it?

That's probably something plot-related which I'd rather not get spoiled on. xD We speculated on memory-wipe a few pages back, or maybe the cast will experience this as a ''dream'' and forget all about it.
Either way, it seems like an important plot-point you might not want to know. ;p

Agh, you're lucky. I'm so damn jealous. >_< I still have to wait two days. I can't even begin to imagine how much I'll be playing that game this weekend...
Did you go with the P4 or P3 protagonist? Also, does the dialogue truly bring a lot of variety, as in it changes according to your characters? Or did they make that seem more than it actually was in the description of the game mechanics?
I really can't decide who to use in Persona Q. I ran with P4 Protagonist the first time because I want to save the good stuff with P3 Protagonist second, but man...I want to have a legit strategy, and also something challenging. Uggh, too many characters.

I went with the P3 protagagonist (for obvious reasons =D), but as far as I've gone it does bring a lot of variety in dialogue, especially the beginning portion of the game.
I haven't decided, but I try to use all of them as much as I can.
