Madara only had it for a short period of time. He couldn't use it as an old man. The first time he used his original eye was when he fought the Tailed Beasts.

The experience and knowledge he gains from the Genjutsu world is real once he's in the real world. Unless you want to explain to me how Madara was teaching Obito about In'Youton, Rikudou No Jutsu, Uchiha Kinjutsu and was passing him knowledge about IT? He did all that via the Genjutsu.

You misunderstood my statement. I meant that summoning the Mazou doesn't have the same effect as the effect of training for several years would have on Madara.
