Itachi is very well rounded. Susanoo can be recreated, and so can the weapons as they are spiritual. And over that, Itachi is very smart as well, so no matter what we can say this is true. Itachi clearly is stronger.

I don't see how Itachi can react to ftg blitz, except having susanoo up all the time. He'll run out eventually. Amaterasu will be sensed, so Minato doesn't have to look him in the eyes.

- Because all MS techniques of itachi are uselss against Minato. FTG alone counters all of them.
- Because Minato is too fast for Itachi
- Because Minato can evade and even redirect anything itachi throws at minato
- Because itachi doesn't have the stamina or chakra to compete with Minato
- Because MS takes a great toll on itachi, while Minato has enormous chakra and can spam teleportation all day long
- Because Minato has faced and easily defeated a much stronger uchiha than Itachi just fine.

Minato doesn't even have to fight really, he can let itachi die of ninja aids, exhaust himself or go blind from MS over usage. And LOL, Izanami can't work on minato.
