Indeed and I'm glad to see that. I still can't believe that some people truly think characters like Jiraiya, Minato or Naruto are better than Sasuke. I mean liking them more than him is fine but saying that they are better written? That's... kinda stupid.

Jiraiya I can understand, but Naruto and Minato? The more power Naruto gets the more he regresses as a character and as for Minato his persona is an equivalent to a cardboard box.

It is true though, Naruto and Jiraiya are extremely better written characters than Sasuke, and Minato on some occasions (like his father-son moments with Naruto).

Where was Jiraiya when Naruto was growing up alone and depressed? Out in the world getting girls and acquiring currency. He had a duty to his God-son, and he failed up until the point that Naruto was old enough to be trained as a ninja.

And don't give me that: "But Jiraiya was trying to get intel on the Akatsuki!" bullshit. He was gone for what? 12-ish years, and do any of you honestly think he came back with 12 years worth of information on Akatsuki? Hell no.
