Actually even as a Naruto fan I agree. There is a reason Sasuke was created for this manga. If Naruto was to do it alone he would fail. Its obvious from the start to the end, it was his character that mattered most.

Nice joke, Sasuke was miles ahead of Naruto until he learned Sage Mode, after that they became more even.

Sage mode was too slow and weak for MS Sasuke, it is when Naruto learned to control Kurama's chakra that they became equal in speed but Naruto became more powerful.
