I'm aware that most teenagers want to be "famous" on Facebook and other social media. But the truth behind this whole facade is that this kind of fame will definitely lead to nothing more than built-up self-image and higher self-esteem. People, who have more confidence than others tend to think big of themselves and fall prey to the illusion cast over our society that makes you believe internet fame is equivalent to actual fame. Actors, such as Keanu Reeves, acquired fame, because of their acting, or lack there-of. But this lack in acting is usually ignored or not payed attention to, since most viewers look at what is directly in front of them and don't go too in-depth so we will ignore it. As I was saying, actors, musicians, singers, writers etc. gained their fame through work and dedication. I agree, most of them really have no talent (Justin Bieber, Will.I.Am, which happen to be talentless singers), but the ones who do have talent (J.K Rowling and Michael J. Fox, writer and actor) really deserve their status and fortune.
I'm not here just to say that teens haven't developed their brains yet, but to say that this is only something that will be temporary and quick to disappear, whereas the people who have actual fame have something, which they successfully made a living off of and now have stable lives and will probably be that way until the end.
Please tell me what you think below.
