That's my problem with the Sakura hate.
The rest of forum (You, Lady B, FOH, UB etc) ALWAYS had a problem with Sakura's character and no matter what happened in those last 2 chapters, those opinions you guys held weren't just gonna magically change, because they were issues you had for a long time and that's fine because you had a problem with how she was written, not about who she would let get in her pants.

That's why when you guys criticize her, I see no problem with it, because you've always felt that way.

The group of chumps I named (Yeah, I'm calling them chumps), would sit here day in and day out and defend Sakura vehemently, ignoring all her faults (Hell, I bet you could read some of their crap in the pairing thread) because all they cared about was a stupid pairing war.

Don't classify them as Sakura fans. They never were. They know nothing of her character and their attitudes and quick change in opinions on the character prove that.

I always believed Sakura's lovers were her haters. Because they most of the time wanted whats better for her character. My beef is more with Kishi than Sakura to be honest. I wanted her to get a better character. I wanted her to be more valuable in some ways through out the manga. Without being a whiny little girl that she was. She had loads of potiential when she took on Sasori. I thought she would start to change my mind after that and become more useful. She also had much more oppertunities to develop when Sasuke was not around. Since Kishi tended to develop both of them at the same time when they were together. During the time Naruto was training to beat Kakuzu. She should have been there training herself for a new technique. Instead we saw her giving him some nasty chocolate candy. Just like that there were plenty of other oppertunities. She had the screen time. Just not the development. I guess it was just never ment to be?

Shikamaru and his team got pretty good development for side characters. It was only Hinata and his team that always had little value in the plot.

I had this opinion for a long time, I even argued with you about it. You stating her character would be fine if she ended with Sasuke(lol).

I cannot believe she actually thinks they all are in IT. By God ... I admit, I agree with some of her points, as Hinata did get shoehorned as a pairing.

Sakura was always a poorly written character in my book. She has some good redeeming qualities, and that's the only thing that works in regards to her usefulness in the plot. As far as characterization goes? I cannot see how she is any better or worse than Hinata. Both of them are laughably bad.

An actually good character has much more qualities than the amount which would get ruined in a single panel. 10 chaps before 699 Kakashi said Sakura loved Sasuke no matter what in case these NaruSakura fans did not notice. For example Gaara was an actually good character in p1, so his characterization got worse step by step. Gaara, being one of my faves is in my faves list as his part 1 self. But not the fanon Gaara i would want him to be because that character does not exist in Naruto manga.

Is it okay to have fanon? Sure. But don't go believing that the fanon you believe is 'the secret awesome could be parts' of a character. Both fanbases or Sakura and Hinata do that a lot, i have not seen as much in other fanbases. Kind of odd.
