[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 697 Discussion and 698 Predictions

I liked the action and lmfao when Naruto tripped with his rasengan that would have been the end of Sasuke. I also enjoyed the fact that they are fighting hand to hand combat till Sasuke pulled out that BS that he can drain Kurama's chakra with his Rinnegan. I wish they would stop giving him the upper hand but maybe it's a set up for him to finally get his ass beat with no excuses.

Yea cause Kurama trying to inject a dose of 9 tail steroids into Naruto the last moments of there fight wasn't B.S and help ninjutsu from Kurama, wasn't a way to give Naruto the upper hand in their fight, cause Naruto could win (man those Narutard glasses must be great, cause you can read the Naruto chapters and Naruto is always great).

You just mad cause Sasuke took cheat chakra from Naruto and pimp slap him with it (if Kishimoto had Sasuke really absorbing chakra from Naruto throughout the fight and used all his Sharinnegan paths abilities, Naruto would have been dead by now).

What is the deal with the 'Seal of Reconciliation'? Does anyone think that Kishi put it in the panels as a foreshadowing?
I'm glad that they get to fight hand to hand, although Naruto tripping over.... Well I guess it needed comic relief???

We'll see how it all turns out with Sakura waking up, not sure if she will play a role in the ending of the fight. She might just be needed to heal them after they finish their fight, I guess?

Last time i checked both of them were giving it there all it seems not to mention both were kicking the shit out of each other i thought the chapter is good and im a sasuke fan so **** you all who gonna diss cuz all i see is a bunch of naruto fan boys whose just mad cuz sasuke has 1 over naruto

I really enjoyed this chapter. Worth the wait imo. From here I predict it can go one of two ways.

Either Naruto pulls a Hashirama and the Naruto that Sasuke is about to chidori is another clone and Naruto will get him from behind (this I doubt) or...
Sakura and Kakashi show up and interfere.

Not sure if anyone else noticed since I haven't read these comments, but anyone else notice Hagoromo finally disappeared?

Well I thought about that .... and has anyone saw how many times they did hit the other... It's not a clone.... No clone can stand so much hits.... Not even the wooden clones of Hashirama..

But for some reason, this one chapter I could finally enjoy... 5 stars.

a "taijutsu" fight that looked like two teenagers brawling.
naruto tripping when he has the chance to attack sasuke,seriously kishimoto (-_-').how many times will you downplay naruto until this manga ends.
no tactics,no plans,just an extremely generic jutsus clashing(past chapter was much better).
this is by far the most boring "big" fight among mangas i've seen so far.
also plotholes,How was Sasuke used rinnegan if he's out of chakra?
seriously i mean he didn't even has enough chakra to maintain a basic chidori,or to even activate rinnegan,yet he uses a rinnegan jutsu(that requires high amount of chakra)to absorb naruto's.
oh well,with sharingan,logic can't be used at all.
also how a lightnening jutsu can trump a wind one?elemental vulnerabilities completely forgotten.
oh well,this manga's logic is long time forgotten.

shadow clones have lasted with being hit and punched and blood gushing out and yadda yadda. the clues being that this chapter, especially, was in sasuke's perspective. we saw his narrative, even when kurama talked to naruto, we didnt see him respond or any of his thoughts. i believe this is foreshadowing.

This is a strong possibility. When Kishi holds back on Naruto's immediate thoughts, in most cases - he is usually planning something.
