I still fail to understand why you are giving Itachi's genjutsu feats and passing it off to Kabuto's, when they both have different functions.

Kabuto's genjutsu halts the opponents moves too, and not just restrain them.

Lets look at it in a different perspective:

What chakra nature creates Susanoo and why was it shut down and nullified?
What chakra nature are Sasuke and Itachi's Genjutsu?
What chakra nature is Shikimaru's Hiden?
What chakra nature is Shadow Clone (or clone in general)?

What concludes that Shadow clones would not get nullified like Susanoo did to protect Itachi and Sasuke?


Finding these conclusions would lead to that if its a counter or not.

Tayuya's Genjutsu was never stated to be different. Never in any unique way except for the fact that it works on the ears. It was noted to be a long distance Genjutsu and Shikamaru said it's harder because it can still be used while hiding unlike the sight.

Evani you misinterpret my post. It wasn't about the clones being in an illusion or not. The point is that there's no evidence that the caster's chakra can support the clones on the field, under the genjutsu. Base on Susanoo being shut down, chakra made for manifest chakra was no longer supported. The same can be said about clones. The caster of clones gets canceled when the caster is hit.

speed isn't outrunning sound genjutsu. They don't have amaterasu to cancel inorganic art. Nor do they have any tech powerful enough to break Kidomaru's webs.

1. They were trying to capture him.. lol. And yea the izanami thing was basically Kabuto being killed. You can say thats a special jutsu.... But thats also counting they only went about 20% percent against Kabuto..

2. They don't really need to cancel inorganic arts, when they can easily dodge them. Furthermore.. won't kabuto be more vulnerable?

3 That is if they get caught in the webs.. and like i said.. there is nothing in Kabuto's arsenal that can touch them (going by on-screen feats).

Why would he need to? Remember you're talking about a versus against hiraishin users? Kabuto will directly be ported in his digestive stomach

Can they counter White Rage in his stomach? Not to mention if Oro's white snake releases poison, the low space within the toad's mouth will allow it to take effect quicker than usual. Moreover, can they even Hirashin inside? I've never seen an argument as to how or why they can enter a Toad unless the FTG kunai is inside him.
