That's more likely than Budo being alive next chapter, in fact. Suzuka died and no one even noticed. Syura was supposedly a big character and a main villain, too, but he died without any of us expecting it and so soon. If Budo is actually dead next chapter, I won't be surprised. Just saying it now.

Though of what you say ends up being true, then I don't even know.. Will be pretty gay to be honest, unless a revived Shura is 10x what he used to be, the manga will end rather soon, or terribly, since there's not much more apart from the PM, who will also probably get solo'd by Nakama powers, if what you said before actually happens.

Also, the manga IS ending soon, in fact. Thats another reason why I wouldn't be surprised if Budo is already dead. The author is rushing it because he is starting a new harem visual novel.

And well... AgK isn't selling well at all. They are gaining almost no profit from it. They spent a lot on the making of the anime (even though the budget is really low) and the anime failed miserably in sales to the point that it not only hasn't boosted up the manga sales, but it also wasted their money.

I'm actually not surprised that AgK is becoming this shitty lately. Takahiro is trying to rush the end. He doesn't care about it anymore.

We did see Suzuka's face smashed into a wall as well as blood. It's sad how we never got a proper confirmation for her death in the manga but nobody really cared about her in-universe anyway.

I think we would have seen Budo being blown to bits or something if he was actually killed. Or maybe him smeared all over that wall.

By the way, didn't he have a cape before?

Indeed it is a face of shock, still doesn't mean he got shitted on. You can be surprised and have a shocked face, and underestimation of Pumpkin's ability to grow stronger when in danger. It's not really confirmed, no reason to act like it is.

That's what you'd call shitted on. He fired off an attack that got rekt and then he got butt-blasted into a wall while wearing a face full of shock and a hint of fear, which also possibly killed him (not confirmed yet though). He just got one-shotted. NOW if he actually evaded that and the fight lasted a little longer then I would consider that he didn't get shitted on.

Even if he ''underestimated'' it, he could have evaded it.

Also Syura is dead for good. Unless Dolothea is lying to the PM. Which is unlikely because the manga is ending and there is no time for major plot twists such as reviving Syura. Wouldn't be surprised if we never saw Cosmina again, too.

Yeah, well many things that could have happen in this manga didn't. Like Ran checking whether Champ was dead or not.

On one hand it's sad to see how rushed the manga is now, but on the other hand, it was never really deep to begin with. Just wasted potential, so much of it U_U

In all seriousness, I'm glad I can see others' perspectives on what's happening in those chapters. I mean, I do tend to look into details that are actually not that important and can fail to see the big picture. Though... I still stand by my opinion that hype shouldn't be taken literally.

You can't really compare Budo's situation to Kurome. For one it's been established that Kurome has superhuman reaction and 2nd the distance between kurome and mine was much longer and third unlike the shot she fired at Kurome this one was probably powered up heavily due to the danger she was in and if that was the case it would be much more powerful... maybe faster as well.
We don't even know if Budo is down for the count just yet anyways.
