I though they were the same because they have same looking texts.
Japanese's roots lie in Chinese and still incorporate their characters into their text (kanji) but they have two other, primary writing systems too.

And the way the Kanji are used and pronounced also differs greatly. Overall, they're two very different languages and mutually unintelligible.

So you're saying that Kishimoto writes in "Chinese" and not "Japanese"?

Oh, that's how it is. Can you at least translate to me that part I requested above? You seem to understand a lot in the two languages based on what you told me ages ago from your trips.
