Lets say naruto never stopped him sorry tried to stop him froj leaving got revenge on itachi what would he do then? Ill tell you be a confused ass emo child. Without the war that obito build for trying to get naruto n bee. Sasuke would have never met itachi again have his closure never brought back oro to help him revive the gokages ask sarutobi if itachi wasnt lying or even ask hashirama about what it really meant to be a villager to the end or a hokage of the village or even join war. He would have stopped at itachi cause he would have no meaning afterwards thats where it ends for him. That means bee wouldn't have to chance to even kill him. Well he didnt get chance anyway thanks to jugo. My point is cause of naruto sasuke got more to do that is manga facts deal with it

Sasuke is equal to Naruto in importance and sometimes even greater.The story being so focused on him and the Naruto himself shows that.
Cuz many of yours facts and logic cames from part 1/early shippuden.
It's a fact that Sasuke can be replaced as a villain with any other villain
It's a fact that his sub-plot was barely connected with main manga plot
It's a fact that Sasuke barely influence on Naruto's growth in Shippuden
Did you see the pages above? i'll explain with more depth.Naruto spent 2 and a half years training.One of his main goals was to get Sasuke back to Konoha.He searched for him,and found him,got his ass kicked,said that he was weak and began to train to become stronger so he can catch up to Sasuke.That whole arc was about Sasuke,and the RS training/ Hidan amd Kakuzu arc was Naruto training to become stronger so he can match Sasuke.
-Yamato when noting Naruto's growth was surprised that Naruto was able to improve so much and thought it was because of the training method - Kakashi who knows Naruto and Sasuke said that the training Method wasn't the only reason for all of Naruto's progress - "Sasuke is what makes him so determined."
Then when fighting against Kakazu,Naruto said,"I know teamwork is important,you've taught me that.I want to cross that dangerous bridge.If i can't make it to the other side,i'll stay a kid forever,so don't burn that bridge yet."
Naruto thought of Sasuke when he said this.He wanted to fight Kakazu alone so he could become stronger,and fight on his own without others help so he could reach Sasuke's level.
Sasuke is very important to everything.The story,to Naruto,etc.Who could replace him? Kabuto? Obito? Madara? No antagonist besides Sasuke grew up with Naruto.None of them can relate to Naruto line Sasuke can.They are not the

-Didn't grow up together
-were not on Team 7 together
-not his rival
-not his friend
etc.
