Because it shows that Naruto's reflexes and sensing are slightly overrated (still probably has the best of the series) and it shows that Sasuke's "RinneBlitz" can be pretty deadly. I for one think it didn't do much damage because Naruto's cloak but against other people, it's a potential GG.

Could care less who it makes look better though. It was clear that Naruto was hit but he took minimal damage so it doesn't matter

I didn't want to do this but morons tend to like to challenge people with intelligence and a better understanding then their own so here ya go.

The point of the attack was to hit Naruto so that Naruto will fight back instead of playing defense. As Sasuke said you keep slacking and you're going to get yourself killed. Meaning if you get hit by a serious attack of mine you're going to take serious damage or die. He hit Naruto clearly. It did little damage because Naruto is a human tank. The point of his attacks were to get Naruto to get serious and fight back. That attack was not ment to kill naruto what so ever.

It also showcased Sasuke speed feats and again that if Naruto slacks he will die or get hurt. As for Naruto it showcased his reflexes. Like Kami stated are probably the best in the anime. So there you have it the point of chidori hitting Naruto

No, the point of attack was for Sasuke to deal damage because the final goal is to kill him. He didn't know he will hold back before starting the fight.

Naruto and Sasuke showcased their speed feats back against Madara already.
