I'm confused about awakening the rinnegan

You need Hagormoo's chakra to get the rinnegan.

Only two have gotten lucky in awakening the rinnegan.

Black zetsu said many incarnates with Ashura+Indra (or in short Hagormoo's) chakra have failed to awaken the rinnegan.

Not everybody gets it, only three people in the whole narutoverse awakened it.

TO get Rinnegan, you need to be Indra's transmigrant and get Ashura's chakra. If you do the same in reverse with Ashura, you get Senjutsu of Six Paths, Which is what Naruto got.

Naruto got Hagoromoo's chakra through nine bijuus.

You either get the sage's chakra through mixing Indra+Ashura, all nine bijuu chakras, or syncing with Gedo mazou (same as second).

Why are you guys bringing up indra?

You need hagoromos chakra.

Madara couldn't get it directly, so he got indra's and asura's which equals to hagoromos.

Its a plot hole.

Naruto doesn't have Hagormo's yin half, as the sage divided his chakra in equal proportions of yin and yang, not of his original chakra, just like you can split a tailed beast. Sasuke's body generates the chakra necessary to retrieve a Rinnegan.

Ashura + Indra = Hagoromo
Hagoromo = Rinnegan

Naruto = Ashura(himself) + Ashura(HagoromoHalf) + Tailed Beasts

Madara = Indra(himself) + Ashura(Hashirama)
Madara = Hagoromo
Madara = Rinnegan

Sasuke = Indra(himself) + Indra(HagoromoHalf) + Ashura(Hashirama)
Sasuke = Indra(himself) + Hagoromo(Hashirama + HagoromoHalf)
Sasuke = Indra(himself) + Rinnegan
Sasuke = 6-tomoe Rinnegan

Host Madara = Indra(himself) + Ashura(Hashirama) + Tailed Beasts
Host Madara = Hagoromo + Tailed Beasts

No,naruto already had senjustu the powers of yin and yang were evenly distributed on purpose
naruto got the yang which enhanced his senjustu

to get the rinnegan you need both powers of the senju and uchiha which make up hogoromo's chakra
sASUKE IS A UCHIHA so all he had half the requirements already.
When he was given chakra by hashirama it allowed him to awaken the rinnegan with help from the sages power of yin which is spiritual energy which helped the process speed up
