I'm confused about awakening the rinnegan

Its said that you need hagoromo's chakra to awaken the rinnegan.

But, doesn't Naruto have that chakra? And Senjustu on top of that?

Maybe you need a dojutsu plus his chakra to awaken the rinnegan.

I call plot hole.

It doesn't mean you will.

Madara specifically pointed this out to obito when he implanted Hshirama cells into him to save his life.
Given the fact that he didn't awaken it obito was unable to use two rinnegan later in life during the war.

There is no plot hole you just need to pay attention

Hogoromo divided his chakra into 2. He gave half of it to indra and the other half to ashura. Hogromo did the same thing to sasuke and naruto. While it is true the chakra originally came from hogoromo you need both halves of his power to gain the rinnegan.

The OP's point is that Naruto has Hagoromo chakra because he got chakra directly from Hagoromo, so theoretically, he should be able to awaken the rinnegan.
In my opinion this is just Kishi once again writting himself into a corner. No actually let me apologise to Kishi for saying that, clearly Hagoromo gave Naruto his yang chakra and Sasuke his Yin, since Yang is body related and Yin eye related with the Senju/Uchiha, Ashura/Indra thing, than it makes sense that Naruto gets rikudou sage mode and Sasuke gets rinnegan. My apologies.

Not all uchiha can awaken sharingan, not all uchiha can awaken ms, not all uchiha can awaken ems. And certainly not all who hold so6p chakra awaken "rinnegan"

Not only do you need both halves of chakra but you need to have a ems dojutsu as well.

Sasuke was born with half of the sage chakra because half of his chakra represents the uchiha . Naruto was born with neither half because he is not senju or uchiha .and this is why madara obtained the rinnegan because he was born with half and just needed senju DNA which he got
