There is only one counter to Kamui (Authority of the Gods) which is Kaguya's rift tech. Besides this one can only hope to dodge with extreme speed/reflex which only few are capable of (Naruto,Minato, Raikages), However if caught its over.


Theres a difference between countering & dodging, Kamui was truly overpowered/haxxed , you can understand why kishi removed it.

Obito's power rivalled kaguya , it was literally the only technique that could save sasuke and counter her rifts to an extent.

Every teleportation technique is different, Hiraishin escapes all, Obito goes intangiable with Kamui whilst Sasuke's doesn't do either.

He'd have teleprted away the moment Kaguya got a hold of him i.e. before Kaguya made the transport to the desert!

Just because Minato with his Hiraishin was able to escape doesn't mean Sasuke with his swap can. The two techniqes are different and not to forget that Hirashin can be spammed to death whereas SAsuke has a cool-down of 5 mins after every single use U_U
