Sasuke fans unite for Sasuke Uchiha, READ!!!!

I don't get Sasuke. I am a fan of Sasuke but right now I don't like or understand his actions or character.

This all started when Itachi killed his family and his clan was killed aswell. He vowed to kill Itachi and avenge his family and clan. Which is reasonable and just like Sasuke's character. He then learned some of the truth from Obito but only after Itachi's death. He then only wanted to eliminate the top tier of the leaf. I'm not sure if he wanted to kill Tsunade as I'm sure he knows that she wasn't involved in that.

He learned more from Danzo and then decided to destroy the leaf and kill everyone, which is completely unreasonable. Sasuke knows that only the top tier were involved in the annihilation, so why would he want to destroy the village. Naruto saying I get what he's doing is a lie. I think Naruto was just trying to comfort Sasuke in that moment. Because how could Naruto understand Sasuke's choice when personally I don't think anyone does. Blaming a village that only knows a lie and trying to kill them instead of letting them know the truth. That's ridiculous.

The village talked bad about his brother because they didn't know the truth, Sasuke knew that. So why kill them knowing that they don't know the truth because you didn't say anything. That's insane. If he would have went to the village and talked to Tsunade which was in Sasuke's character, the truth would of changed everything. The Sasuke I know would clear his brother's name, not soil it in blood. But instead he kept the truth a secret and desired nothing more than destruction.

After seeing edo Itachi it looked as though he didn't desire destruction so much, he then talked with the Past hokage and it seemed he was on a clear path of understanding and restoring the clans name. He even states he wanted to become Hokage with his last dying word. Now in the recent chapter the whole script is flipped. He doesn't care for reasoning or understanding. But instead an extremist view with illogical ideas.

Killing the Kage's and starting a revolution. That is not in Sasuke's character.

I would like to know the opinion of other Sasuke fan about everything that Sasuke did. I believe he has had the best character development but instead Kishi made Sasuke the only character close to being insane. OMG even Obito had a reason for all the crap he did. But Sasuke has no reasonable reason at all.

Sasuke fans help me find clarity in my favorite character, if not I'll have to let him go.


Also since some people want to bring Indra in this, we don't even know his reasons for the stuff he did. So obviously don't bring him in this not knowing much about his goal or reasons.

OT: That's what makes him an interesting character. There is a lot of realism embedded in Sasuke's character. The shinobi world needs a change. Though, he is indeed going too far. There's no necessity to kill the Gokages and the Bijuus.

1 Bold. Naruto was thinking about what it felt like to lose the ppl he loved like in pein's invasion and then put himself in Sasuke's shoes to empathize.

2. The ppl of the village benefited from Itachi's sacrifice which at that time Sasuke thought that Itachi was forced to make. According to what Sasuke heard from Obito the village always had a prejudice against the Uchiha (Senju x Uchiha feud) so to Sasuke it was almost as if the entire village wanted the Uchiha's downfall. Also, even Tsunade doesn't know the truth about the massacre.

3. Sasuke didn't exactly change with Itachi, he became confused as to y the village was so important to Itachi. And once he learned of the importance of the village Sasuke saw that the village is an important institution. Tbh, I think Sasuke got his idea for revolution from his talk with Orochimaru. And tbh, Sasuke has a point. The system the way it is now will always create darkness, and even if you maintain peace for a time sooner or later darkness will resurface because the village structure is fundamentally flawed.

The reasoning behind his current actions are obvious. The current shinobi system is failing, he wants to execute the current leaders of this failing system. He understands that should this current system continue, the cycle of hatred will just continue to cycle around, and another big villain will rise and destroy the world.

He wishes to change this current system for the better, what he plans to do after killing the kages, so they just go for what they assume he will do in the future, and their assumption is that he will kill anyone who doesn't agree with him, which is a false and baseless accusation.

Plus, he wasn't even lied to all his life. He was in ignorant bliss, and then when he heard the truth he didn't have the intelligence to do the right thing and still doesn't.
He's not a poor little boy. Just an annoying man child most people don't care for.

That said, I can see (though don' agree) with his wanting to kill the villagers. He wanted ppl to suffer for causing Itachi's suffering.

I wonder how long it would take for him to kill HIMSELF seeing that Itachi suffered as much for his sake (perhaps even more) as for the village.

No their time moves slower than our time, 2 years ago: their time would be during the time skip, it's almost been like a year in their time since Shippuden began

@bold- Not really. Naruto and company were still after him. After Itachi's death, Naruto would have just brought him back if Tobi had never interfered and Sasuke would be happy in Konoha, with complete peace of mind and viewed as a hero for taking credit of the deaths of 3 missing-nins. You can see that moment of catharsis when Itachi initially dies. If Naruto's team had gotten there a little earlier, the series would have been much different.

Sasuke wouldn't kill himself. Kishimoto described him as self-centered. He cares for himself above all else, his own ideas. Then maybe Itachi, then Naruto, then Taka, then Kakashi/Sakura, and then no one else really.

Naruto just turned 17. Sasuke is older than Naruto by some months. Sasuke's been 17 for a while now. Itachi died and he found out the truth when he was barely 16. Still been over one year in their time.

It's been over 1.5 yrs since Shippuden began. It started when they were 15 and a half. Now, Naruto is 17 while Sasuke is a few months older than that. :/
