Not really, he says that Hiruzen took him out of the equation in favor of Minato and, even though the citizens disagreed with Hiruzens decision, they simply acceptes it.
Its just a case of expectation vs reality
They expected Hiruzen to pick his student, one of the legendary sannin as hokage, but he didn't he pick the upcoming hero, yes they're going to be disappointed has Orochimaru's rep was greater than Minato. he choose minato over him so everyone thought it was a pity, what it doesn't say was they voted for Orochimaru has Kage.

The people wanted Orochimaru to be Hokage, that's why they were dissapointed when Hiruzen didn't choose him. They wanted Orochimaru as hokage, but got Minato instead, without them wanting him, yet all they did was say "oh well". Meaning that they would follow whatever the leader chose, just like they would have followed Danzo, a man who has worse ideals than Sasuke. Meaning that this isn't a Democracy as Minato was never said to have been voted in to be Hokage, unless you have a scan that proves otherwise becuase the one I posted doesn't even hint at it.

No they didnt. Manga never said or implied that. I bet the viz version says differently

If you have the VIZ and it's different, then i'll agree, but until then, the people did want Orochimaru as Hokage.

Didn't the U.S sort of do the same with the British?

Well in that case the revolution was lead by a number of patriots and intellectuals not one man calling the shots, and I think people actually voted for Washington .... I dont see any resemblance of that here.

I never said that. Sasuke's way is more than likely opposite to what the Kages believe in. I said if he kills them, if people accept his way and if it works, then it makes them the bad guys because their way, being the opposite, would have failed and they would have tried to stop him from implementing this way that would have worked in favor of failure. Not intentionally the bad guys.

Okay i guess i misunderstood you. However I don't think Sasukes barbaric actions would yield any good results for Naruto and the Kages to be considered bad in that context.

You may as well give up, it's pointless, arguing with these guys.

Sasuke's considered a bad guy because he's no official yet he feels he has the power to no only kill 5 leaders, but implement HIS system, without consent from anybody, even ******* like Danzo tried to go through the proper system but somehow Sasuke's above that? why because he's a self entitled Uchiha? please
So if sasuke obtained followers, would you be happier to see sasuke's plan through?
