Karin the worst? | Who do you prefer more: Karin or Danzo?

Danzo is the character you love to hate, because he is thoroughly nasty and dispicable. That is what makes him a good character.

Karin......She is just and aweful character in every way. Even for comedic purposes. She is not attractive even by animie standards, her personally is terribly obsessive and annoying, she is covered in gross bite marks, and her love obsession with Sasuke is not even funny.

Even Sakura tried to kill Sasuke at one point for everything he did. Karin just forgives him and starts humpping his leg again like a lost puppy.

This. Danzo was a well written character. Karin was not. Danzo was supposed to be the 'douche' people hate him for and he was a succesful character in Kishi's part Karin is a failure both personality and characterization. I mean i can barely find a reason to like her. I wish manga kept on a smaller scale and big bad was someone like Danzo.

So uh tell me.....where was this "protect the leaf at any cost" mentallity when Pain attacked and destoryed the village. If I remember correctly....He killed the frog that was suppose to tell Naruto(who beat pain) that the village was under attack, He hid his forces undergound refusing to help people escape (people of his village he swore he would protect) simply because he didn't like how the current Hokage was running things.

There is nothing noble about that. That was pure selishness because Danzo believed that his way was the ONLY way to protect Kanoha.

again, danzo wasn't perfect. but if you only look at the 4 instances shown where danzo messed up then you aren't really looking at danzo. look at the leaf and how it had prospered and came to become the strongest of the villages. do you think that happened because hiruzen talked to kids about the will of fire or because danzo and his anbu were out doing missions and ensuring that no terrorists attacked his home. making alliances with people and gathering information to use against other villages should he ever need to. danzo helped the village more then anyone else in the series except maybe hashirama and tobirama who founded it and got things started

Don't compare Sakura and Karin. People don't understand Sasuke is the only person in Karin's life (besides Taka). She has absolutely nobody besides those 3. So it's completely understandable why she's so infatuated with him. Not to mention he saved her life.

I prefer Danzo. His actions are understandable (though I don't agree with them), and I feel kind of sorry for him. I don't know enough about Karin to understand her behavior.

Oh don't get me wrong. Hammers to nails Danzo is a well written and Solid Character. For the very reasons you just mentioned. The fact that, obviously he wasn't always this way is what intrigues many of his fans. At what point did the Danzo we know come to be was probably around the time Tobirama picked Hiruzen to be the next Hokage.

My point is you can't really say the village is or would be better off with Danzo as Hokage, simply because his conviction or "will of Fire" is strong. And the mistakes as we call them he doesn't see them as mistakes. He thinks what he did was for the good of the village. It's that twisted logic that makes him so great in my opinion.

I'm sorry I know I was a bit harsh with Karin's character, but honestly it's not the fact that she has an infatuation with Sasuke that bothers me. Most of the K11 girls are into him as well even now.

My problem with her is how quickly she forgave him. Sure he saved her life....
...But he also nearly killed her so he could get at Danzo. But aesthetically, I don't find her overall design very appealing or intersting, nor do I find her bi-polar mood swings all that funny even though Iknow they are for comedic value.

Something like that, no matter the circumstances of your life, are not so easily forgiven. This is all just my opinion of course. I hav no qualms with those who are fans o hers. After all, I'm a fan of Sakura's XD

His methods may have been extreme. He did both good and bad. But in the end, he was the Leaf's Danzo Shimura.

But you can keep hating Danzō if you want, Itachi and Jiraiya have my back.
OT: This isn't even a question. Danzō is a far superior character, is far more interesting, is far more important, is far more powerful, has a far better appearance, has far better dialogue, Danzō is better than Karin in every way. Karin's character can be summed up by "p*ssy for brains". That is her character.

As a character, it's subjective but karin is wayyyyy more likable than danzo lol. Anyone who prefers danzo over karin is a masochist.
