This thread is for the people who doesn't understand how Flying Thunder God(FTG) & Kamui works. Enjoy! =D

FTG allows the user to teleport from point A to point B with markers. However FTG cannot teleport to other dimensions! Example below.

Lets say minato use FTG in dimension 1 , he can travel from point A to point B or point B to point C but he'll always be limited to teleporting in dimension 1. Although FTG is limited, it doesn't deplete the users chakra hence can be spammed.

Edit: When minato teleports alone, it barely effects his chakra. He stated only when warping massive things, it takes a toll on his chakra.
__

Kamui allows the user to open wormholes and traverse different dimensions at will without markers but this depletes the users chakra.

The latest manga confirmed that chakra can act as a medium/marker for kamui, although i assume they have to be connected somehow. Example below.

Lets say Obito use Kamui in dimension 1, he can travel from point A,B,or C freely but he isn't limited to dimension 1. He can traverse dimensions 1,2,3,4,etc and all points freely at the expense of chakra.

I believe FTG is also theoretically inter-dimensional if it behaves like summoning technique.

since we have seen that summoning jutsu works across dimensions (e.g. sasuke's hawk)
FTG should allow minato to teleport from one dimension to another too.

Hmm, we really can't infer that FTG doesn't work in other dimensions yet, it's still 50/50. You're right in what you say, it's been shown to be limited to one dimension but what exactly is FTG? It's pretty much reverse summoning yourself into the location where your seal/chakra is. So let's say Minato got taken to those random dimensions along with team 7. He still has a seal in a separate dimension that his chakra and his seals never go away (Ask Obito). Not only that, Sasuke even used a summoning jutsu in the dimension of Kaguya's, and we know that FTG is just reverse summoning

At this point, it's hard to say whether FTG is bounded by the "real" dimension or not.

Lol, of course FTG uses chakra. In fact it takes 3 Jonin to use the jutsu.

And Minatos space time barrier has a dimension within it, otherwise where does the things that he sends into it go to?

Kamui >>> FTG >>> sasuke's current S/T. Prehaps in the future when he improves it.
How on earth is Kamui >>> FTG? I thought it was made clear that FTG was the superior Jutsu in the Minato Vs Obito fight. Current Sasuke's S/T is OP. Its not just a means of transport, if timed well, Sasuke can drive a Jutsu straight through his opponents heart.

Actually basically every detail of Sasuke's S/T is known:

Say the initial formation is A|B|C

Sasuke can switch C with B to make it A|C|B so that C gets attacked by A and B and has less of a chance of countering the Jutsu. A good example of this would be against . The formation was as following:

S|N|K Sasuke and Naruto attacked each other, and Sasuke instantly switched Naruto's and Kaguya's place so they could get the drop on her S|K|N. If the person does not have an automatic defence that they can use to protect both sides, its basically GG.

He can also do this with objects, if sword is on the ground a couple meters away, and someone is charging at him, he can switch places with the sword and himself, he canonically did this against Madara [ ]. Say someone was attacking him, he can throw his sword in front of him and charge at his sword with a Chidori and then when close enough, switch the person who is attacking him with his sword, and he will essentially be placing them right in front of his Chidori. Its quiet a fearsome Jutsu.

The only drawbacks are the limited range and the cool down time.

it's actually quite odd..
we know the object passing thru the barrier eventually reappears at a chosen FTG mark , but there's a mysterious time delay..
so either the object decomposes at the barrier and recomposes at the mark, or it actually goes to a unique dimension before ultimately making its reappearance.

Even minato stated Kamui > FTG, he knew it the moment he fought obito. He stated numerous times if he got caught in kamui it was over.

flying thunder god does take up chakra... minato mentioned this in the 9tail flashback.
I edited my OP, Minato stated when warping massive stuff, it taxes his chakra, Minato alone mastered FTG to such a degree that when he warps himself it barely effects his chakra.

I was referring to teleporting alone, not other people/things.
