Sasuke would have awakened the rinnegan regardless of if he had EMS because according to most of you the sage gave him the rinnegan. Sasuke's Mangekyo can do susanoo and ameterasu. Madaras Mangekyo was displayed as being able to do susanoo. It doesn't matter what technique Madara has in his weak Eternal mangekyo sharingan because Sasuke will eventually obtain the rinnegan through the sage something Madara wasn't worthy of obtaining.
