), this is the saddest piece of news I heard today :NO::NO:, a news which I never wanted to hear, I wanted him to play in the next world cup or atleast in 2016 Euros, but all that I can say is "Thank You", he has been phenomenal, he started his professional career when 21 years 10 months 06 days, a bit late than normal players and is truly a legend after all he has attained and he ended his career on a befiting high. He also was one of the most fair footballers and down to earth of his generation, while playing for Lazio he told the refs he had scored via handball and got the goal overturned when ref had missed it in a match against Napoli.

I will miss him and his front flip.=D

Best of Luck to him and I hope he has a wonderful future. .

To be fair, it was because Vermaelen was injured and unfortunately for him, Mertesacker with Koscielny were playing like gods, so he couldn't get back, I think that if injuries avoid him, he can get back to his old level and be good for us. I think Vermaelen + Pique are gonna be starters for most matches and Mathieu is gonna be starter if Vermaelen doesn't get his form back, and knowing our CBs, at least 1 of them is gonna get injured, so Bartra is gonna get his chances as well.

I think Barcelona could have done better, signing Hummels could have been better decision. Vermaelen can only be stopgap atm.

The way Hummels transfer situation has developed, I don't think he won't be moving from Dortmund, he is happy there and has a confirmed Champions league playing opportunity, about which I am skeptical that Manchester United will obtain this year unless they pay the club huge money, Hummels isn't moving.

Also the complete transfer market was skewed by David Luiz's transfer, who I think is a good player, but not worth £50 million.=D

Yes I know that Bayern have a deep midfield, but he would been a great addition/ replacement for Schweinsteiger in the future (albeit he doesn't have the defensive skills of schweini) and since also Javi got injured. I hope Schweinsteiger remains fit and Thiago lives up to his name.

Also the fact that he went to Real Madrid, does not help Bayern's champions league chances, he has strengthened their midfield which was dwindling due to Alonso's form.

I feel bad for Di maria, but if rumors are to be believed both Man U and PSG are interested and in past 2-3 Man U rumors are strengthening (

As for Real Madrid they are totally looking threatening, it is rumoured that they might sign Liverpool's Raheem Sterling (

He probably wants to focus on club football and it will increase his life for Arsenal, and he didn't feature much for Germany after the quarters, Hummels, Boateng are the future and they are also focusing on Howdes and Badstuber.

I am hyped up for it but as a neutral Premier league fan, I feel this year it is going to be difficult for liverpool to win the league (they will finish in top 4 surely, might be second) as Chelsea are looking dangerous, but hope for the best for your team .

Yes, United did lost and it is a bit disappointing to say the least.>_>
Before few days I read an article about, 'how United deserve someone better than Rojo', though writer did not take into consideration the fact that we don't have 'quantity' atm. It is clearly evident that we need at least 2 good defenders and a decent midfielder to play at center, then we can think about winger.
For defender, Mats Hummels was my first choice, though I have to admit that Ed and Van Gaal could have turned their eyes somewhere else, when it was clear that there aren't any chances of him leaving Dortmund. Talking about Fabregas and Kroos, they were definitely tough deals to make, typically when your team finished 7th last season and you aren't getting champions league this season. Vidal saga looks like 'a curious case of Arturo Vidal' to me. Benatia is certainly a good option,but I just hope that our 'idiot Ed' gets ready to pay him more to lure him to United, typically when Munich are in competition. Guarin, Alonso and Khedira are all 'just good'.
As much as I hate to admit, United really sucked in this transfer market and I just hope that they do better in that front before transfer window closes. There are still opportunities to fix the loopholes, but if they don't fix it, we just have to depend upon 'Van Gaal magic' and hopes of Ed being sacked somehow.
