On the Mecha Naruto thing, this series as a whole technically follows a multiverse canon similar to what comic books do. So there are technically three individual canons, the manga canon, anime canon, and video game canon in the Naruto series.

Also, I not really doubting it since I have no opinion on the matter, but if Sasuke has Tsukuynomi, why didn't he use it to get edo Itachi out of sound genjutsu instead of regular genjutsu?

No. You need Two MS with abilities awaken in both of them, may it be one ability [ Madara - Tsukoyomi ] or two different abilty [ Itachi - Amataresu & Tsukoyomi ; Obito - Kamui & Tsukoyomi { don't tell me he didn't have it because the guy ****ing controlled Kurama and a Perfect Jinchuriki for years, similarly like Itachi controlled Kabuto for minutes } ] or three different abilities [ Sasuke - Amataresu, Enton or the ability he uses to off the flames of amataresu & Tsukoyomi { though weaker version from Itachi }, to awaken the Susano'o.

But if you can't prove that he does have it that means it's proven that he doesn't have it right? Personally I just think he has a stronger than normal genjustu but not tsyukyomi
