Naruto calls obito AWESOME l Viz scans

Thats fine, but if you think of Obito as an awesome guy what does that say about the ppl that Obito killed and wronged. Naruto forgiving ppl and even coming to like them later is obvious, but by praising him, to the readers and anyone hearing Obito it makes it seem that Obito's wrongs are being mitigated

I personally don't give a shit if Naruto idolizes him or not
He forgave Obito, he is paralleled to Obito, so he thinks he's cool
His wrongs aren't erased, it happened, but Naruto is forgiving him and moving on

I can read the manga just fine and Naruto's statement is still stupid.

There's a difference between reading the manga, than reading, and analyzing while taking context into consideration.
But you my friend just read and look at pictures. If you can't even make out the context in which Naruto is speaking and just jump to conclusion then am very right.

Much like how Sasuke called Itachi 'perfect' please for God's sake notice the context already .... Naruto's full statement is: "As someone who tried to become Hokage ... he is nothing but awesome" .... Naruto was referring to the Kid Obito much like how Sasuke was refering to the pre Massacre Itachi as 'perfect'.

Apparently to NB calling someone awesome is the equivalent of forgiving them for everything they did.

"He called him awesome, that must mean it was okay that he killed Neji and his parents!"-NB logic.

You have to consider what happened before he called him awesome. He made a statement before calling him awesome, and from that you could see that he was just showing how the HOKAGE position ment to both of them.

Itachi is Itachi. Sasuke acknowledges that the Itachi standing in front of him is the one who massacred the clan, he even told him that his actions had led Sasuke to develop such hatred. It's still the same guy.
All Sasuke is talking about is their past lives together, you know, they are brothers, why wouldn't he talk about their past together.

Sasuke has not ONCE tried to act like Itachi is two different people. All he did was talk about his past relationship with the brother he once idolized.
