It doesn't matter. All the bad things Obito does completely overrides Kid Obito. If someone killed my family and friends, I'm gonna hate all of that person, i don't care how good he was in the past. I'm going to his past self as well.

So say this person killed your family and friends.
Keep in mind that he's a good person too would you still hate him? Or are you going to hate the person that made him kill.

Obito was basically brainwashed by Madara, had the puppet master seal , and was lost in the dark by the Curse of Hatred
(As was revealed by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, the Uchiha are people greatly devoted to love and friendship. Because the Uchiha tend to conceal their more affectionate traits, a member's love can be transformed into hatred in the blink of an eye if they somehow lose those closest to them. The despair of the experience causes a manifestation of unique chakra within that Uchiha's brain, impacting the optic nerves and creating the Sharingan. Furthermore, advanced forms of the Sharingan require extremely painful experiences that cause the user to delve into darkness that utterly consumes them. This causes the Uchiha to do anything in their power achieve their goals and showing their own superiority. An Uchiha who falls victim to the curse can give up that hatred if someone close to them can reach them however, though this is incredibly difficult as the Uchiha becomes largely unreasonable and unflinching in their singular desire. For example, Madara Uchiha succumbed to the curse after cutting off his friendship with Hashirama Senju, then gave up that hatred when he acknowledged Hashirama's willingness to kill himself to bring peace between the clans, only to fall once again when learns that the villagers and his own clan didn't trust his warnings about Tobirama.

The curse also causes victims to become narrow-minded )

Naruto knew this and tried to free him by reminding him who he was.
Though Naruto didn't really forgive him but respect the fact he wanted to become Hokage.

IMO, the scene could have been a lot better if Naruto had attacked Kaguya right when BZ began saying shit about Obito and not after to allow some interaction between Kakashi and Obito. Naruto tearing up for Obito and claiming he was cool/awesome was a bit too much.

I don't feel like watching that but idc if he was brainwashed, he still killed my parents. Not my fault he doesn't have a strong enough mindset.

He wanted to save Obito and hence was trying to heal him. And in that moment, Obito talked with Naruto and Kakashi. After Obito completley crumbled and still BZ badmouthing Obito, Naruto got furious.

I know ,wasn't expecting you to watch it. Just giving you an example .
As for me I will focus my hate, not on the person that was brainwashed , but the person that made him a tool.

I understand that he tried to heal him, but I'm just stating a different way this could have been handled. A way that I think would have been better. Sometimes, I kinda try to put myself in these characters positions and see how I would handle the situation they're in. My suggestion is basically what I would have done if I was Naruto right there and then.

The way naruto sees it ( and how we are meant to see it ) is that none of this is obitos fault. I thiink thats a load of bollocks, obito always jad a choice and regardless of influence his actions are his responsibility and he doesn't deserve to get let off so easily.
