[Discussion] Whitebeard is Stronger than Garp

Prime WB is definitely a little stronger than Garp. Even Garp was afraid when the war was coming up and either Garp or Sengoku said, 'He is the strongest man in the world now'.
But in their old age, I think Garp can match him due to obvious reasons.

Well to counter your little statement it is said that Garp the Hero cornered Gol D. Rodger and on many of times they almost killed each other so if Whitebeard was only a match for him is he really stronger then Garp who put the Pirate King himself on the brink of death?

Roger wasn't afraid of anything i bet he would challenge a Army with a toothpick as his only weapon and probably come out of alive i mean c'mon he's the "Pirate King". Also Whitebeard may have been able to but i doubt it, Rodger's crew no his First Mate was more of a powerhouse then the whole Whitebeard Crew(Excluding Whitebeard ofc).

So maybe he could have but it is not said the only thing someone did say was that he was a "Match" But Roger himself admitted that him and Garp almost killed each other numerous times.

How long was Roger a pirate? Around 20 or something years. The statement "You and I have almost killed each other countless times" could have been before Roger reached his peak strength.

Answer this. If Garp was as strong as them then why wasn't he considered the world strongest man? Right after Squardo stabbed Whitebeard, Sengoku stated that he was still the strongest man. Who knows Garps strength better than himself? Sengoku. Also, WB was losing strength faster than Garp; being sick and all.

Really...taking Buggy's words over Roger Buggy probably hid the moment Whitebeard ever appeared and never stayed to watch the two fight.

Anyway the statistics actually go more like this (Prime Roger >= Prime Whitebeard = Prime Garp) and in Marineford it was like this (Marineford Old Garp >= Marineford Old Sick Whitebeard.

Strongest can be varied (Physically Whitebeard was the strongest due to his power of earthquakes) but in a 1 on 1 fight it would come down to more than strength.

I read your previous post however I disagree with it. Garp has never shown to be Roger or Whitebeards inferior.
