Doesn't matter. If they were moving as fast as you claim they shouldn't have been blocked. The only time either ay or darui got a direct hit on suigetsu and juugo was when the latters were distracted by something.

Naruto was most likely referring to Base Part 1 Lee. Kakashi can't use high level taijutsu except primary lotus while Rock Lee can use forbidden ones. Imagine Kakashi against Gated Lee while drunk. Kimmi had a 5 in Taijutsu. Even greater than Kakashi's score and Part 1 drunken Lee was pushing him back like that despite just coming from the hospital.

Of course he was weakend, but kakashi had his fights with the swordmens before he fought the jins too.
So kakashi, who was also weakend could keep up with the jins.

Not Keep up for long? Do you not realize that he had 3 large weapons in his possession? Seven Star Sword, Crimson Gourd, and the Amber Pot. He couldn't tote all those huge weapons around by himself, especially the pot which is nearly as big as he is. Not only that, Kinkaku knew they were going to try and seal him so he more intended to destroy the pot. Darui had to protect the pot, meaning he had to stay with it and not let Kinkaku destroy it and foil HQs plan. Nice try though. Next?

@evani: speculation. Especially considering that kakashi has shown the ability to open gates. We never saw how the fight went down. But we do know is that naruto made that comparison based on his knowledge of Lee's abilities. Gates included.

How many gates he can open in part 2? Unknown. What is known is that whatever taijutsu he showed naruto during that fight is comparable to what naruto knows of Lee.

Naruto doesn't have to see a full power Lee to make that comparison since the Lee I'm taking about is the one naruto saw.
