Seriously though a 4.5 in taijutsu like Kisame defeated Base Gai, and failed with his entire team against armless Deidara who is a long range fighter first. I dunno why you think he is that great

Kisame beat him because of superhuman strength and because he uses a sword that's as big as Gai himself, giving him much superior range.

I'm pretty sure we've gone over this before but Gai's team never engaged Deidara in combat.

Fact is Gais taijutsu is pretty good even in base, kakashi kept up with guy in taijutsu ( no gates). With gates gais taijutsu is on another level kakashi can't match.

But kakashi definitive is more experienced in taijutsu than darui even with no sharingan.
kakashi was able to keep up with 6 gates guys foot speed against the jins, so he is faster than darui.

The sharingan has nothing to do with the speed of kakashi, only seeing better through attacks, but kakashi even without sharingan is good in predicting and close combat: keeping up one eyed with kage summit sasuke and even lend a hit on sasuke.
Now kakashi has both of his normal eyes he isn't handicapped and has a better field of vision.

Darui has good kenjutsu skills so all this talk of taijutsu is pointless, this will clearly be an exchange of jutsu, speed and battle reflexes.

PTS Kakashi is on the same level as Darui. Now that he doesn't even have Sharingan this gives Darui the win. Darui can also use bigger scale lightning style, Kakashi without sharingan can't even use Raikiri without fear of leaving himself open. Medium diff.

Show me Kakashi's best speed, CQC, and hand seals feats. Sure Kakashi has more versatile ninjutsu so he takes that department. Intelligence? Kakashi's had more screen time, but Darui's few intelligence feats proves he is probably equal to Kakashi.

Kakashi has superior speed, boasting the feats of blitzing Obito and outright teleporting in the eyes of Zabuza. He has displayed superior Taijutsu, and overall CQC prowess although how much of that is attributable to the Sharingan is debatable. He has access to Kage Bunshin, and combined with Doton feints, it should give him the tactical advantage and overall edge over an otherwise similar fighter.

Best speed feat: counter blitzing multiple v2 jins.

Best reaction feat: Saving himself obito and sakura from falling into lava after realizing it wasn't genjutsu.

Best Intel feat. Deducing kamui and all of its workings. Figuring out pain's 5 second coll down.

Darui's best intel feat is figuring out how to beat gold and silver AFTER he admitted defeat. Nothing puts him on shikamaru/kakashi/itachi level intel. Heck even le sauce had better feats vs danzo and deidara.

Jugo was standing right besides Sasuke the entire time. All he did was put up his guard to block Darui's sword. Suigetsu and Karin were right above their heads looking over a wall so Suigetsu had less distance to go then Ay and Darui. Nice try though. Anything else?

Kakashi showed that he can keep up with 6 gates guys footspeed and with the speed of the jinchurikies.
Darui showed that he cant match the speed of a jinchuriki long

Of course he was weakend, but kakashi had his fights with the swordmens before he fought the jins too.
So kakashi, who was also weakend could keep up with the jins.
