Hi, nb. I'm autism. An ex-mormon, agnostic, atheist, now christian. I've chosen to believe in theism because I think we are here not by natural selection or by choice.. but by natural selection. Atheists and agnostics might call me stupid.. but I don't really care. This shizz is sincere, from the heart. The big bang, big rip, crunch, and many other theories of the universe have been created. I personally believe through science, how we are perfectly aligned geocentrically where the sun gives us just enough light and heat to survive, where the moon blocks it out and seperates day and night, and gives us living condition as the other planets do not, and how we're all here. I don't really know how to explain the young earth and old earth creationism -- because I don't know much about old earth or the universe being 13.7 billion years. I once heard an interesting theory by a creationist physicist that said if the universe is perceived at different sides, and how fast light travels per second - - there really is no man that can determine the age of the universe. The bible mentions universe expansion.
Isaiah 42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all [things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
The bible also explains multiple things before we knew them, although a lot have been attempted at being refuted, I see no real evidence to stop these quotes.
The Earth is a sphere (Isaiah 40:23)
Incalculable number of stars (Jeremiah 33:22)
Free float of Earth in space (Job 26:7)
Creation made of invisible elements (Hebrews 11:3) (atoms)
Each star is different (1 Corinthians 15:41)
Light moves (Job 38:19,20)
Air has weight (Job 28:25)
Winds blow in cyclones (Ecclesiastes 1:6)
Blood is the source of life and health (Leviticus 17:11)
Ocean floor contains deep valleys and mountains (2 Samuel 22:16; Jonah 2:6)
Ocean contains springs (Job 38:16)
When dealing with disease, hands should be washed under running water (Leviticus 15:13)
RationalWiki somewhat debunks these, but some of them it agrees with and says how it was worded it can't be determined if it actually meant that, which is perfectly reasonable.
But seriously.. it's convinced me. especially godandscience.org.
Don't mention ken ham. No one agrees with him, and he's an idiot. Lol. Where do you stand on this?
