Yes, that was a really poor decision on Kishimoto's part. He was kept in the sidelines for the majority of the time and when he acquired some form of relevance to the actual plot-line, he was killed off. Quite aggravating, but it happens. His legacy still lives on however and sparked further development in the character of Lawd Sasuke. And of-course, I am yet to start Jojolion though.

Agree with everything except intelligence. Here's why I think so:

-Obviously his radical ideals. He believed that Akatsuki, a peaceful organization in a foreign country, would threaten his ascent to power so he killed the leader. As a result, Nagato became hateful and the destruction of Konoha is indirectly his fault.
-He saw no alternative to the Uchiha clan issue other than just slaughtering them all. He didn't even try peace talks. Hiruzen is to blame for this too.
-He let a mad scientist inject him with Hashi cells, fully aware that 60 other children had died when injected with Hashirama's DNA.
-He didn't try to kill Sasuke at the beginning of his fight with the Reverse Tetragram Seal. If he used it while he had izanagi activated, he would have been totally fine and Shisui's eye would remain unharmed, since izanagi lets the user keep the advantageous factors of that minute and dismiss the disadvantageous factors as a dream. In fact, he should have been able to spam that technique.
-He didn't try to catch Sasuke off-guard with izanagi. Instead, he tried to stab a Susano'o with a freaking kunai knife. Really man?
-He trapped Sasuke under an immobilizing seal, and instead of just stabbing him there and then, he gave him a short little talk, giving Sasuke time to overcome the seal.

Overall though, awesome thread. Danzo's a well-written character and is strong as well (his fuuton is underrated...)

Thanks alot. I can definitely see when you're coming from. But it's pretty self explanatory for Danzo not using Reverse Tetragram Seal in the beginning, the battle had to last, since it was more of a showcase of what Sauce can do at the point with his MS. Unfortunate, that Danzo was led to becoming an object to this. Also, things don't go as a person may theorise, looking at an individual's abilities. I feel bad for saying this, but I blame the damn plot! I definitely do agree with your 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th points though. And his Fuuton is definitely underrated. With Baku, it's one of his most lethal assets. I consider him to be only 2nd to Naruto.

As for the rest of your thread, well done. I think you've covered Danzo to the fullest extent. One thing I'd like to point out is that his ability to respawn after dying is very similar to space time ninjutsu. Sasuke managed to force Danzo to waste Izanagi due to multiple oneshot techniques that Danzo couldn't otherwise counter. This forced Danzo not to release Izanagi due to the risk of getting one shotted before forming the seals to use Izanagi. On the other hand, most shinobi don't possess super fast one shot techs so Danzo could conserve Izanagi and only have to use it when in dire positions thus he is hard to put down and can last well over ten minutes. Furthermore, Danzo didn't have access to sharingan precog during his fight with Sasuke since Shisui's eye was still recovering so Danzo didn't have all his powers available to him when he fought against Sasuke.

Didn't think you did for all of the thread (it's easy to change what others wrote). But rather what you wrote was already known and shown to the users for obv reasons i.e. Sharingan abilities, his wind style, KA etc etc. We know all of these abilities bro. What I meant is you didn't go deeper with Danzo telling what wasn't known or combo's that could be made or how he used/did certain things. Good thread though.
