**** no I'm in it for the presents.

I believe in god and the resurrection of Christ as much as I believe in Santa so I might be biased here.

Yeah its a religious holiday for many religions going back thousands of years, Jesus was supposedly born in the middle of the year, but they celebrated in on the 25 of December because that was a already a holiday for other religions at the time.

yes its religious and if you don't support Jesus Christ , but you do celebrate Christmas its like stealing and if someone took it more dishonorable of what people are doing, they would try to murder you if they deemed it an extreme disrespect.

Every year after Thanksgiving, most people's thoughts turn to Christmas. It is the time when professing Christians are supposed to focus on Jesus Christ. After all, it is the “Christ-mass” season!

Christmas is thought by most to be a wonderful time, focusing the participants on giving, family togetherness, beautiful music and decorations, feasting on special foods and singing Christmas carols throughout the neighborhood (as my family did every year). All of this is supposedly centered around the worship of Christ. Surely the Bible instructs us to do all this—right?

The answers will shock you!

Effing READ it and LEARN a thing or two.

Yes, it's the inaccurate birthday of Jesus that christians celebrate but also a general season that celebrates family, charity, and good will. At least until it became a giant commercialized buying fest.

Ok you are either an uneducated idiot, a retard or a no life troll. Pick one or all because:
1. Religion is the furthest thing from paganism.
2. Christmas is the day Jesus Christ was born.
3. Easter is the holiday in wich we celebrate Jesus's ressurection and victory over death. A deed in wich he absolutely proved himself to be God.
4. Easter egg is a symbol of life in a memorial of triumph over death.
Another thing I'd like to note is the way atheists have been trying to steal the most sacred holidays from Christians by turning them into national holidays, commercializing and materializing them by averting attention from what is really celebrated. How? First they give us a big red grandba who gives good kids presents. That grandpa has become the thing that is celebrated. Just google Christmas and you'll see that all there is is just a bunch of Santa Claus stuff. Another proof of that is Atheists and non-Christians celebrating it. You want Christmas with no God. Another way of averting attention and brainwashing is all that stuff you see on TV. "Daddy what's Christmas about?" then the father responds "It's a day when all our family gets together, has a lunch and does good deeds." There is no celebrating Jesus Christ whatsoever. Just a Christmas tree, a bunch of bells and decorations while cribs or a cross is nowhere to be seemed. Another cool thing is the recently popular term X-mas. See how there is no Christ here? People say "It's just for short" but it's not. It sends a clear message. X is a symbol for something that is not known. People today don't know what they celebrate in Christmans. Sure call me crazy, call me a hypocrite but we all know who is right here. Guess what? Christmas is a Christian holiday and it always will be. If you're against God and are restlessly working on corrupting and violating everything Christians stand for than it's clear on whose side you are on.

It was always solely Jesus's birthday. A season is just there to avert the masses eyes.

You assume he is an atheist simply because he believes it was originally a pagan holiday?.

Quite quick to judge others aren't you.
